Will smoking hinder my gains

12

I’m not sure about erect gains being hindered or even girth, but flaccid gains are certainly affected by smoking and drinking. Anything that dehydrates the body will cause flaccid shrinkage. Alcohol and smoking anything will make you turtle, as will caffeine. I’ve even noticed a shorter flaccid hang after smoking pot.

You can compensate for this by super hydrating your body; drink lots of water, or Gatorade. I stopped smoking pot about three months ago after discovering a new legal alternative to cannabis. Since giving up weed I’ve seen significant increase in flaccid hang, also my asthma has completely disappeared.

Now if I can only find an alternative for booze. :gulp:

Anybody who smokes should just quit. Embrace the non-smoking lifestyle, it is the only way. Think to yourself that you will enjoy and prefer it. Succeeding in the beginning is all about positive thinking and nicotine patches. After the fist year or so your brain re-learns the old non-smoking pathways. You have to realize, smoking for years changes certain pathways in the brain. The addiction consists of holding the cigarette, smoking it, planning the next fix, developing triggers over the years (leaving buildings, hearing a favorite song, anger, excitement, happiness, etc) programs the brain to need cigarettes to function. The best way to be successful is to embrace quitting and educating yourself on what your up against.

The recreational drug of the new millennium.

Just do a Google or shoot me a PM if you want to know more.

Back on topic, this is why I don’t think the new E-Cigs will work. You are still reinforcing the old psychological addiction, sucking on a tube that glows on the end, and exhaling vapor. These things may eventually work, but they should not design them to look and feel like cigarettes. They should have been made to look like chocolate chip cookies.

I think I’ll try to quit, I don’t smoke a lot unless I’m at a party or something so I don’t think it’ll be too hard. Plus I’ve never bought a pack, I usually just get one or two from my friends.

On the other hand, will drinking hinder your gains as much or more than smoking will?

That are just excuses, sooner or later you will smoke more.

The e cigs are just “safer”, they still have nicotine in them. They where made to use in bars where smoking was not allowed. Marketing people turned them into stop smoking aids witch they are not.

Well I think the point of them is that there is no actual smoke, just the nicotine. But I wonder if people will also get addicted to e-cigs because of the nicotine in them?

Of course they will. I can smoke e-cigs or cigarettes. It does not matter. I can go days without a cigarette and be fine as long as I have my e-cig.

They are interchangeable. The only real advantage to an e-cig is the no smoke or smell.

If someone does not smoke and decided to smoke e-cigs because they look cool they are an idiot. The nicotine is whats addicting.
