Everyone at one point or another (if they aren’t stupid) has used the newbie routine. It is what you start off with no matter what size dick you have. Gains differ from person to person, but tend to be greater than the gains you get down the road.

I started with that and gradually increased intensity. After 3 months I had gained 0.5” BPEL and 0.7” EG

People have gained from the newbie routine, however, I look at it more as a conditioning period rather than expecting gains from it. I personally didn’t gain any size from it but if I would have skipped it, it would have taken much longer to get to the point I am at right now. There is something to be said for conditioning gains.

I don’t follow the routine religiously and never have as far time/repetitions etc. Since the beginning I adapted it to what felt more comfortable, fun, suitable to me.. Sometimes I stretch more, others I jelq more, depends.
I have been PEing for 3-4 months and still consider myself a newbie, partially because I haven’t had any incredible gains. But I have gradually intensified my routine and it has worked. I still have a “medium dick” and would like (duh!) to end up with a big one, but I do have new dick. I now have a new starting point. Still nothing that would make anyone go WOW, but I have grown. I don’t measure myself so can’t say how much I have gained in cm or inches, but I’m basically hoping to get a bit passed my belly button when erect and fill my hand up girth-wise.
On a couple occasions my girlfriend (I still don’t constantly have the same BIG erections, but my flaccid dick seems to have grown) commented on how I felt fatter and that was a huge boost.

So yes, the newbie routine has worked for me, but I adapted it to my needs and feeling. Usually start in the shower with a good warm up and stretch, then do a bit more jelqing after.

No, it says “5 minute manual stretch (ten 30 - second stretches)”. Stretch ten times in different directions for 30 seconds each. 10 30 second stretches, that’s it.

No, 200 strokes, that’s it. You can do 200 with the same hand or alternate between hands as you see fit.

I started out with a similar routine only instead of hot pads I use the shower. And I only stretch for 2 minutes, 30 seconds in each direction. I only go to about 100 jelqs, it really depends on how sore I get. Since I jelq towards the ground I get a good lig stretch and usually after about 75-80 jelqs I start to get pretty sore. I have made really good gains despite a short routine, however I have seen similar results with bodybuilding. Over-training gets you nowhere fast.

Lovinthebeach5, hey! :) I don’t follow the newbie routine per se; rather, I have my own take on it.

My routine:

1. Warm-up for approximately five minutes under tap (I use one of those Arabian or French bum-washers, but it’s unlikely you have one). This apparatus is excellent for PE warm-up.
2. Jelq for anywhere between 10-20 minutes.
3. Stretch for around five minutes. My stretches are long in duration, individual stretches vary from anywhere between 10 seconds to 60 seconds.
4. During the day I edge for approximately one hour.*

I repeat the above exercise twice a day, everyday. I have seen quite considerable gains. The point of all this is you should take that beginners routine and use it as a foundation for your own routine that centres around both your daily activities and time, and also considers your own penis’s genetic individuality.

*I can now (after edging for perhaps an hour everyday for two weeks) stop myself from cumming right on the point of ejaculation (not an overestimation) – I am now working to be able to withhold my semen while continuing to masturbate. Nevertheless, I can stop myself ejaculating for pretty much as long as I want (I get bored guys, that’s got to say something).

I don’t like the newbie routine— IMHO, people should focus on length or girth exclusively. Then when they’re happy, they can switch it up.
