Which Style Is Better?

Faster jelqs (around 3 seconds) with more reps, or slower, more concentrated jelqs (around 5-7 seconds) with less reps then the fast ones.

I have been doing the slower ones and make sure they are of high quality but I’m curious if quality over quantity is better in the case of jelqing?

What do you guys suggest or prefer? What has worked best for you?

Or is this truly a whatever works best for you kind of thing? I Just want to maximize my jelq results.

When it comes to PE quality is better than quantity 100 percent of the time. That is an important fact.

I’m sure most will agree that 5 seconds is a good time per jelq. However you can have quality jelqs at 3 seconds.

If you are wet jelqing, just get a good continous rhythm going. I think naturally the jelq takes about 3-5 seconds.

Most people here do talk about a 3-5 second jelq as a average time to perform a jelq. Myself, I generally do 3-5 second jelqs but through a set every once in awhile I’ll do a longer jelq and a jelq hold as I’ll call it. I also change up direction of jelqs and change from palm up to palm down through my sets. I’ve found it helpful and benifical for myself so far.

Awesome thanks guys. Makes sense, I will stick to what I’m doing then which is longer, controlled jelqs probably around 6 seconds or so each. Definitely feels good to get a rhythm going. Also, I’m sure dick size has a lot to do with the time it takes per jelq as well.

Man I love jelqing, it feels great lol

I prefer the longer jelq with a slight hold at the end when the head is engorged.


Starting 10/09/17: BPEL 7” & MSEG 4.75”

Current 12/18/17: 7 1/2" BPEL & 5" MSEG

Goal: BPEL 9” & MSEG 6”

I tend to do longer jelqs, 7 seconds per rep. Works for me.

Dick size has something to do with length of jelq but it’s not huge differences because of the relatively small terms humans dicks are. Honestly when you’re talking about a matter of inches between two guys and lets use extremes of someone who is 5” and a guy who is 10”. Lets look at the calculations… a guy with 5” dick doing a 3 second jelq is performing a jelq at a speed of 0.1389 ft/s (1.667 inch/s) and a guy with a 10” dick doing a 3 second jelq is performing it at a speed of 0.278 ft/s (3.34 inch/s). Because our dicks are measured in a fairly small unit of measure such as inches, the time it takes to do jelqs can be considered fairly consistent from person to person as the speed to perform the action is extremely low and the speed/time equation is linear.
Honestly with PE if it’s working for you, giving results and feels right then go with it! Good luck with your gains!
