Where should you "feel" the kegel

Now before someone screams at me I know what kegels are and do them regularly, However I always have this feeling that something isn’t right because while I’m squeezing I only feel it in the anus area, thats the only part that squeezes while doing a kegel, I feel nothing in area between the anus and the penis. Is that normal?

Maybe you should try to kegel when urinating. Then you will know where is the muscles.

I do feel a little squeezing at the anus when kegel.

Put a finger between anus and balls and do kegels. You will feel that little muscle.

Your tensing the wrong muscle.your PC is under your balls.

It is normal when you first start doing kegels. They are so close in proximity it is hard to isolate one from the other. As you continue to do kegels you will learn to control just the BC muscle. Although if I do enough kegels I will inevitably begin to contract the muscle around the anus as well. That’s when I know I should stop for a bit.

There are two tricks to learn how to isolate the BC. One has been mentioned already, stop the flow of urine. The other is to stretch your flaccid penis and then try to pull it back in while holding the stretch. When you feel it trying to pull back against the stretch, that is a kegel. That is the way I trained myself to just work the BC.

What worked good for me to be sure I am flexing the right muscle(and is part of my training now)

Is to get an full erection, then press your dick a little bit to the ground or hang on some weight and then try to raise it.

Yeah I was wondering about that.

I already did the stop urinating trick and it’s still the muscle around the anus that I feel “dominating”.

However, today I tried concentrating on the feel a little and what I felt was that during a squeeze, the anus muscles contract fast first THEN I get a a slightly weaker contraction on those muscles behind the balls.when I release the squeeze the muscles behind the balls release first THEN the contracted anus muscles..

Is this a sign that I’m beginning to master the kegels or am I still doing it wrong?

Your starting to get it. At least you can feel the BC contracting and releasing. You’ll get there. Just keep at it. Try the stretching out the flaccid and trying to pull it back in while stretched. That exercise really emphasised the BC for me.
