when to quit, when to take a break?
Well, it’s been 6 months since I started with the newbie routine and worked my way up to a longer sessions etc., and almost 2 months now since I joined Thunders with my original post, “a tale of woe, a cry for help” — and despite following much of the great advice I’ve gotten directly from other members, Gimli and Panos and others, and indirectly from reading old threads — despite all the information on this great site — I’ve still experienced no erect gains whatsoever. Six months of PE altogether, starting with Newbie routine and working my way up, and 2 months or so at Thunders…and no erect gains at all. None. Zero. Zilch. I’m still at about 5.5 with a normal erection, maybe 5.75 when very erect, 6.25# BPEL, just like I was when I started.

Flaccid gains, yes, I have seen those, but I suspect they would go away if I stopped PE. That is one of the cons of stopping. The pros would be: 1) I’d stop obsessing about my dick and maybe be happier overall, 2) I’d have more time for other things, 3) oh, who am I kidding, I still want a bigger dick, and maybe taking a deconditioning break (ah, but for how long?) is really what I need. Let’s say I wasn’t doing PE quite right at the beginning, but still managed to condition my penis enough to make gaining a bit more difficult than it would have been in the beginning (if I’d been doing everything correctly); maybe I need to start fresh with a deconditioned dick?
Here’s my latest routine.
5 min. warmup
10 min. 30 second stretches
pumping (following routine from Pumping 101 thread, now doing two 15 min sessions per day, with at least 20 min break between pumpings, low pressure)
3 min warm
variable jelq (anywhere from 50-300 jelqs depending on time available)
5 min warmdown.
— and 2 or 3 five minute stretching sessions throughout the day.
Was doing 5 days on, two days off. (Sex about 5 or 6 times a week, which I mention in case that’s a factor.)
Found this was a bit much, was making me sore, affecting erection quality, so I cut back, took a short break, and am now doing a scaled back version of the above routine, with more rest days, but hey, whatever, the upshot remains: NO GAINS!
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
