What's harder to gain?

Which one do you guy’s find harder to gain? Girth or length? I know people have opinions but some people don’t know whether they should do girth or length first.

I think girth is harder and many here think you should gain length first.


Start: (Aug 2001): 6 1/2 bpel x 4 7/8 mseg

Current: (6/24/14): 7 3/4 bpel (7 nbp) x 5 5/8 mseg. BEG 6 1/4. BPFSL 8 1/8.

Goals: First: 7 1/2 bpel x 5 1/2 mseg ACHIEVED! Current Goal: 7 nbp x 5 3/4 mseg (almost there!)

Most guys find girth harder to gain, but there are plenty of exceptions to that.

Personally, I believe length and girth exercises are synergistic and that both should always be worked together.


Heat makes the difference between gaining quickly or slowly for some guys, or between gaining slowly instead of not at all for others. And the ideal penis size is 7.6" BPEL x 5.6" Mid Girth.

Head Girth - Hardest

Head length, for anyone interested is fairly easy. But man, gaining anything in girth on your head is a real bitch. Takes forever and it’s real temperamental.

Girth - Wet jelqs, dry jelqs, holds, ulis, clamping, pumping.

Length - Stretches, wet jelqs, hanging.

Anytime you work girth you’re going to work length a little and visa versa. If you wanted to gain more than the other then that’s what you would work on. And as a newbie I advise you to pour most of your focus on girth, because girth exercises are harder to master and length will come in time. What you don’t want to do is to neglect either and have a skinny bean pole or a little chubby.

Thanks for the advice, what do you think of my routine, 5 min warm up, 7 min stretches, 50 jelqs, rest, 50 more, 50 kegels and more through out the day and 5 min warm down

Looks fine I guess. Honestly, I couldn’t tell you. I haven’t done straight sets of wet jelqs or direct kegel work in a long time. I do more rest-pauses when it comes to my PE exercises, and just worry about keeping my kegel muscles tight during everything.

Not following the advice everyone else preached for one. When everyone told me I needed to PE 5-7 days a week and hang for hours and hours in order to grow, and it didn’t work… I ignored them, and I just experimented on my own. Half of the guys who PE will never gain more than 2” in length and 1” in girth, if they’re lucky. And that’s following the common advice you see here. I just got tired of feeling so unsure about PE that I had to ask for advise and decided if I wanted to learn this on my experience would be my best teacher. Worked out quite well.

TheGreatDivider, how to interpret your signature? Is it supposed to mean that you gained no length and little girth between 11/11/11 and 5/18/12 and then the following month you suddenly gained length? Is that related to what you just wrote about becoming your own teacher?


PE start Aug 25, 2013: BPEL 6.7" x EG 4.7" and BPFSL 7".

Paused between Dec 2013 and Dec 2014 due to injury. Careful with those rice socks!

Goal 7" x 5". Ideal is 8" x 6" but let's not even dream about that yet...!

What length did you start at TGD?

I get asked a lot of questions about my sig. and it was just an experiment I started to bring up girth in different parts of the shaft. I think I gained something like .25” in each part I measured, and I didn’t measure length until I almost outgrew my pump. That’s all that was. It’s not what I started at either, I’ve been at this PE thing since age 14.

Hard to tell, because I started at age 14 and was very fat. I say it was 4”, but it couldn’t have been any bigger than 4.5” at the most. I remember hitting 5” was a huge deal for me… and I still have some faded stretch marks and a trail of hair that creeps up about half way to remind me I that it wasn’t all puberty either.
