Been on the newb routine for 2 months now, very consistent, with no real measurable results.. What should I do now? I see other routines on the site but I am not really interested in mechanical PE or anything, I would really just like to get the most results I can with jelqing/stretching

Some people take months before they see actual gains. If it feels like you’re doing it right then stick with it. In time begin to increase time, intensity, etc. Be the tortoise because the hare died.

OK, so what is your routine at present? How much stretching, how many jelqs, are you heating or not, how many days/how many rest days?


For Lampwick, becoming hung like a donkey was the result of a total commitment.

2 days on, 1 day off, 5 min heat before/after, 10 min BTC and other stretches, 25-30 in jelqing.

Hmmmm. Similar to my routine….Try mixing it up. Different exercises, time periods etc.

One day on and one day off might help. Your probably ready to ease into diferent grip styles. Jelq squeeses,stretch jelqs,Uli”s.

Have you considered a split routine; perhaps, 15 minutes of stretching and 15 minutes of jelqing in the morning then another session in the evening. This concept worked for me when I first started PE back in November of 2004. It’s worth a try.

Sounds like some good advice, any body else? Want to get all the advice I can.

Deluxe, I don’t think due to my schedule, I would be able to do the split routine unfortunately, I usually only have time to do it either in the morning, or at night, one or the other.

As far as the other grip styles, should I do thirty min of regular jelq and then the other styles on top of that for another period of time, or just work it into my 30 min that I’m doing now?

After doing the newbie routine, you can start out some of the more advanced exercises. But do this gradually and don’t jump into it and start giving it all you got. Like the newbie routine, the advanced exercises must be started off lightly before starting to put your penis through a lot. Try some high erection jelqs and Horses.

Sounds like a reasonable routine for someone two months in. One question I failed to ask earlier: how are you doing with your PIs? How is your erection quality, and are you experiencing any discoloration (bad) or increased vascularity (good)?

The Newbie Routine is generally good for NOT producing negative PIs, but individuals vary, so we can’t assume that you’re not overdoing just because it’s the Newbie Routine. Assuming that you aren’t experiencing negative PIs, though, this is a good time to think about increasing your routine, either in duration or by adding new exercises. I second Okish6er’s advice on that; when adding a new exercise, ease into it.

If you cannot put in 15 minutes in the morning and 15 minutes in the afternoon or evening on a split routine, you’ve got to be very very very busy or married with kids. Well then, how about adding additional stretching after using the restroom; everything thing counts; you need to mix it up and experiment to see what works for you; however, you need to go full blast on any routine to get results and then some.

By the way I made a mistake in the last post I actually started in November of 2005 not 2004; if I started in 2004 I would already be in the 2” club.
