What I've learned in a month and a half

I’ve been experimenting with a few things while maintaining as much of the newbie routine as possible.

One thing I didn’t do consistently was warm up before jelqing. At first I didn’t understand the need for warming up; I figured that my cock being body temperature was warm enough. As I slowly began to understand what my cock should feel like while jelqing I realized that when I didn’t warm up before starting that it would not inflate as well as it should, so I would have to grip harder to get that full feeling down-shaft of my grip. I soon realized that the few minor injuries I had (like the red dots) always happened when I didn’t warm up before and ended up gripping harder to compensate. I now warm up every time.

I also learned to listen to my PI as far as taking breaks and over training. I think I over-trained the first two weeks but I now take breaks regularly.

Wearing a shunga roll a fair amount on a regular basis increased my EQ a ton. Since I started wearing it I have to be extra careful about taking days off since my PI’s seem to always be good.

I had to stop measuring every day by making my ruler not easily accessible. The fluctuations of the measurements from day to day made me incredibly happy when I saw a new gain and really sad when it would seem to go away.

My first month I gained 1/4 inch length and 1/8 inch girth. I hope to continue to figure out myself and what works for me so the gains keep coming.

I treat it like fat loss or weight training.
It’s not a good idea to keep weighing yourself everyday, so it’s not a good idea to measure your cock everyday.

Try setting a scheduled date to measure, maybe once a week or every two weeks or once a month.

Thanks for the welcome. I’m going to try measuring only once a month, when I do my “official” measurement. After I saw my first results I became obsessed with measuring for a week or so hoping to keep seeing more. I realize it’s kind of like that old saying, “A watched pot never boils”.

I used to measure so frequently that I tricked myself into believing I didn’t gain.
