What is the current recommended Grip while Jelqing?

Hey everyone,

I am just starting up PE after a long break (about 4 years). I was lurking the forums and was reading a post by Tom Hubbard where he described a new way of Jelqing, basically you take your thumb and your index finger. Place your fingers on either side of your CC and stroke up just like a Jelq (your fingers form a upside down you). He claimed it was safer than the OK grip. In the past I used the OK grip but I want to be as safe as possible. Basically what is the recommended way to Jelq now to increase size in the safest way possible?

Thanks in advance!

I’ve always jelqed with two straight fingers.

The main problem with the OK grip is that it puts too much emphasis on the CS (bottom of penis). People new to PE will often tend to focus on this sensation because of the easy glans inflation and intense feeling when you’re causing overpressure in the CS, but it’s a counterproductive approach. The main focus of jelqing should be the CCs. By keeping your fingers on the sides, it’s much easier to work on the correct tissues.

Just applying your fingers on the sides doesn’t seem to apply enough pressure. Saying that the ok grip is counteractive is an exaggeration I think. Ok grip with different EL is working good on me. However I’m just a newbie. Let’s see what the vets say. I’m sure many have gained with the traditional ok grip.

That’s not what I meant. What I’m saying is that the OK grip leads to a counterproductive focus where people squeeze their CS because it creates a visual effect (glans inflation). It’s exacerbated by the fact that the natural way to tighten the grip is to flatten it by moving the tips of the fingers closer to the hand.

To take it a littler further, the fundamental problem is that people are taught a motion with no idea what it should feel like. So it’s natural to assume that whatever creates an intense feeling (overpressure in the skin, CS and glans) is correct, while in fact, it is not the productive way to go about it - not to mention that it carries more risk of injury.

You’ll be able to apply plenty of pressure by pinching the shaft between the first joint of the thumb and the forefinger and it largely limits the force to where it’s actually useful.

Thanks for the information Serenity.

I find it confusing. Why all the explanations here and videos don’t show this way? They do show a strong ok grip.

The ok grip is working for me. My EQ is good and I haven’t injured at all yet.

If you made up your mind that the ok grip is the best for you why you started this thread?

I personally like the reverse grip while the other hand holds back my balls to help w Turkey Neck.

This is the opposite of the OK grip.

I think I do something like this. I do an inverted V with the two fingers pressing against the sides (CCs). I then hold and squeeze those two fingers together a bit using my other hand underneath. Works for me. Got the idea from a guy over at PEGym who calls this the Ultimate Jelq.

Marinera I have not made up my mind that is why I made this thread. But after reading the responses I will not be using the OK grip, I will be using the inverted V jelq. I feel like I get a much better workout when I used the OK grip (Just remembering when I did some PE a long time ago) but I will stick to the V jelq and see how it goes. Thanks for the help guys!

Sorry I confused the OP with Quim92.

Are the images of the different kinds of grips described in this thread>?

Check this thread

Dry jelqing - WOW.

To me the C grip reminds me an inner pull from the Toms side if you aren’t at least 60% erect. I also like to dry jelqg before wet jelq and squeeze/Ulli. I am sure that this is because I am uncut as marinera said.

I got a lot of skin, the doctor even once said it wasn’t really commun to have that much skin and scrotum. Will it be bad for hanging? Sorry to change subject.
