What is the BEST circumcision style, low or high

I’m thinking of getting circumcised because I have extremely long foreskin. I want a really tight circumcision, but I’m not sure if I should get it done HIGH or LOW? A low circumcision is about 0.5cm behind the glan, and a high circumcision is about 4-5cm behind the glan. I understand a low circumcision gives “better” protection against HIV/aids, but I don’t care about that because only a condom can give full protection.

I very much agree with the above!

Take it from a guy over sixty. As hormones and sensitivity wane in an aging penis, my foreskin and the frenulum is the best thing for upping sensitivity, arousal, and eroticism solo, in oral, or in intercourse.

My doc told me today that I am totally uncircumcised even tho I have what I always considered a minimal circumcision. For me, the more foreskin the better and I wish I had that elephants trunk amount of foreskin that some guys have hanging far down below their glans. That has got to feel heavenly in solo, oral, and in intercourse.

Tread lightly and think much on your decision to be circumcised. You are cutting of thousand of meissner corpuscles from your penis. These are the same pleasure giving neurological cells found in the frenulum.

Plus, this forum is about penis enlargement— and by getting adult circumcision you are effectively reducing your penis volume.

Like I said, I don’t want to hear from people who are AGAINST circumcision. Where are all the guys who are satisfied with their circumcision?

The problem is most people are indifferent to their circumcision or hate it. I have yet to read about anyone being pleased with it. But if I had to make a judgement, the best circumcision is the one that leaves as much inner foreskin as possible.

From someone who has had two circumcisions (the first being a disaster), I would advise spending a great deal of time and effort finding the right doctor to perform your circumcision. Most Urologist are not skilled surgeons.

You’re not getting a lot of response because you’re asking opinions, and excluded a very common opinion from the answers. I’ll offer my opinion, even if not all of them are to your liking.

I think a high looks better flaccid, if you’re comparing it only to low. The low looks better erect.

The color change can be hot, especially on darker skinned guys.

But the one skin color can look more natural.

Feels better to you, or your partner? Probably a question for your doctor.

They are both less sensitive.

The tightness depends on how much skin they take, more than where they take it from. If you are a grower, it will probably be impossible to have tight looking skin when you are flaccid, without having overly tight skin when erect. (Painful)

It shouldn’t give you harder erections, unless you are more stimulated because you like your dick better. In which case, depends on which you like.

Women care a lot less than you think. They will notice if you’re cut or not. And very often, fail to get that straight.

The next three questions depend on your anatomy, talk to the doc. I’ve never seen that a circumcision made a dick look bigger, when flaccid usually uncut looks bigger. (Just because there is more dick physically there.)

A scar can look nice, if its healed nicely. When they aren’t, they can be pretty damn scary.

Circumcision is a personal choice, everyone is going to have a different perspective. Not everyone is in favor, but there’s nothing wrong with wanting to do it. Look for a good doc, talk over your options, and decide what is going to work for you. There’s no going back, it would really suck to take a one way trip based on what people online said, only to find out later it wasn’t really what you would have done on your own.

I am happy with my circumcision done with a moderately loose style. Still no regrets!

I’m a fan of the full but that may just be because that’s what I grew up with.

An uncut flaccid certainly looks bigger, thicker. I was cut at birth, but have gained so much skin from PE the foreskin now covers about 3/4 of the glans. I like the looks of it now, but don’t want to gain anymore skin. I just don’t like the looks of a pointed dick. However, I have to agree with the above post, removing any skin results in a loss of total penile volume.
