What is clamping routine

I’m 21 years old and I’m new in PE..

I heard that clamping is a successful technique to gain lenght and girth but clamping can do discoloration..

Anyway, I’m french so I didn’t understand what is exactly “clamping” so can you tell me in simple words what is “clamping” please?
