What are the keys to successful PE

Hey guys
This is my first post here. I’ve been PEing for 2 weeks and been reading and learning a lot from this site. I’ve learned from the physiological indicators thread that I may have started too hard because I saw decreased quality of morning wood and so I’m really trying to learn the fundamentals and keys to success with PE.

I’m currently at 6.5 BPEL not sure about my girth but if a man can dream I want to be 9x6. So to the experienced members of this forum or anyone who has learned a lot from PE, in YOUR experience what are the keys to success with PE? This is a broad question and I intentionally leave it that way so feel free to give advice on mastering technique, getting to know your rod, how to learn from this site, attitude and mindset of a skilled PEer or anything else you think might help a noob like myself.

Hi Marathon,
Your name says it all, take it slow, and take it steady.
You already have a good length to start with,so….. start with the newbie routine and work with that for a few months, take days off when you feel the need, you seem to understand PI already so you have a grasp on where you are going with this.

Anything else to help? Well it took me seven months to selectively read through the archives at about six hours a day, just by thread title selection, and still I go back, so much wisdom there.

As I always say this is a “marathon” not a sprint, great name :)

If you were to ask the one thing that matters, it’s consistency. Consistency and learning what works for you. You’re going to see a lot of crap on this forum from guys who will attribute newbie gains to anything any everything…. but who don’t have the experience to back it up. Stay away from Arginine pills and any pe gadgets for at least your first year while you learn how to perfect manual jelqs and stretches. And take notes over everything, you’ll need them when you least expect it.

I’m serious about not using any devices at first. A lot of newbies buy into pumps, clamps, and hangers or extenders and seriously overdo it because they don’t know what their doing and think more is going to get them results faster. If you can’t learn to work with your hands and listen to your body, then you shouldn’t be PEing anyways. This is not a hobby that gets you very fast results. In fact you’re likely to see 1/16”-1/8” in your first month, which is usually so small you won’t be able to measure. But performed consistently that’s 3/4” a year!

TheGreatDivider I’m glad you said that about not buying pumps and stuff because I am pretty much that noob you describe. But I like that PE is something you can do without equipment and just with your own hands. Are there any essential accessories like a powder or a particular lube you guys could recommend. Thanks :)

Ditto, mostly. I disagree about staying away from Arginine pills. I take L-Arginine pills 1000 mg (sometimes twice daily). I also workout and have read that they are great for rebuilding cells. I also believe that if you stop seeing results from your routine after many months, why not try hanging or some other device. Just my opinion. After reading Bib’s story, I can’t ignore the positive effects of hanging.

  • Do not break your penis.
  • Don’t reinvent PE; do the n00b routine.
  • Dedication and consistency.
  • Always error on the side of less rather than more until you know your shit.
  • In case of even minor injury STOP!
  • Invest at least a bit in posting in the forums; it will keep you invested in your PE.
  • Remember to send Thunder some kind bud or top shelve scotch every Christmas.

I seem to recall bib gained only base girth from hanging, the rest came from ulis.

I would love some base girth. Thats all i really want.

The ever important rest and recovery phase between sessions. Often overlooked. Rest can fix just about any problem, sometimes it just take alot.
