I want in this thread to open general discussion about ideas, suggestions and programs in right after ending period of 6 weeks of newbie routine..
Routine of Uli seems too hard for that moment, so let make space here for gathering and creating some “fresh veteran newbie” program!

‘Newbie routine’ is an unfortunate name. The basic routine is not just for beginners, neither there is a time frame past which it is mandatory to move from that routine to a ‘more advanced’ one. The idea is completely different: the newbie routine is a well rounded routine that will work girth, length and EQ. You should add more stretches and jelqs as time goes by, but not necessarily move onto different techniques - since when the basics are working, keep doing them.

A lot of people get nice gains from the newbie routine, than in a hurry for gains moves onto hanging or clamping or whatever, just to discover that the latters don’t work as well as the manual basic exercises and often have more issues (and cost a bit of money too).

Often more newbie routine is the correct answer. The newbie routine is designed to build up but after building up it’s designed to be continued.

The best way of judging what to do next is gains. So, do you have measurable gains? If so, continue the newbie routine. IF you feel like you are gaining but haven’t seen a measurable difference keep going with the newbie routine for a couple of weeks and then revisit it.

It’s possible to reduce gains by changing a working routine. It’s possible to make a routine that isn’t giving gains do exactly that by either ensuring that you are actually doing the exercises properly or by tweaking it slightly.

Thank you, guys. Concrete advices would be desirable. For example: gradually from 30 minutes of jelq increase to 1 hour and, eventually involve jelq squeezes in some part (start with 10 min, and slowly increase to half of all jelq workout). Same rule with stretches.

Memento, you think continue DEVELOPING newbie routine if results are seen?

It’s sensible to use a routine that works. We aren’t measuring your penis (that would be weird), so you have to complete the feedback part of this loop.

More doesn’t equal better.

Some people stick with the Newbie Routine for a year or more. You have to judge. Is it working for you? If not change.

I know now that PE isn’t a sprint. After six weeks of newbie routine, try six more weeks of newbie routine. Ignore any advice on number of reps/minutes but watch your PIs to see whether you should add, subtract or maintain your level.

When you are sure you’re not gaining, ask for specific advice with your specific circumstances and you’ll get plenty of guidance from this community.


11/20/2011: BPEL: 6", MEG: 4.75" (goal BPEL: ~7", MEG: 5.25")

5/9/12: BPEL: 6.5", MEG 5" (goal BPEL: 7.25", MEG: 5.5")

3/5/13: BPEL: 6.875", MEG 5 5" (max goal BPEL: 7.5", MEG: 5.75")

My idea is to start building up newbie routine from this level (10min stretches, 30 min jelqing) slowly after one month from now to 3day on, 1 off, 30 minutes of stretches, 1 hour jelq after. By period “harder” exercises will be involved.

I read somewhere newbie routine is to be continued for a year or so.

Well, there are many variations. I think it is too long period for just basic newbie.
