Hi Guys,

Although I’ve been a member and lurked around for quite some time so this is my first real question on the boards, I have tried a search but couldn’t find anything similar enough. Anyway, I started the jelqing routine with some stretches when I first joined but never really got round to sticking to a proper regime.

I don’t think I even really got through the initial newbie routine before my enthusiasm waned and I gradually ceased activity. Every now and then I have a little jelq, and once in a while I’ll wear a cock ring with missus (or on my own) but other than that I’ve not done any serious PE since my initial bout with negligible results.

So, 6 years later, I have a bit more time on my hands and thought I might have a proper go at trying to get some length gains out of the old boy, and after reading about hanging and clamping I’m keen to give it another go (don’t worry I’m not about to exploding my dick by jumping straight into a hardcore regime - I’ll take it slow).

After that rather lengthy intro, my question is, does gaining weight affect your girth? I ask because I re-measured the other day to see where things are at and it would appear that I’ve gained nearly quarter an inch in girth.

Now this is down to possibly one of 2 things, by simply squeezing my cock every now and again over the last 5 years I’ve managed to gain some girth - or, and more worryingly, is it linked to the weight gain? We’re talking 8 stone here, for anyone not int he UK that’s 112 lbs.

I know, I’m grossly overweight but I’m tackling it now by eating healthily and started doing some exercise. My real main concern is if I lose weight, will I also lose this new found girth? Is there any correlation between weight and girth? Have any other members experienced anything similar or can offer some advice? Would be very interested and appreciative to hear other member’s stories about this.

I don’t see there being any correlation between weight gain and girth. The most likely scenario is that you measured your girth in separate locations and this has led to two different measurements. However, being overweight leads to a lot of extra fat around your penis obscuring a large portion of it if you are very overweight (fat pad). You should definitely continue eating healthy and keep working out. The weight loss is excellent for your health and after a time can help reduce your fat pat resulting in a “longer” length without doing any PE.


06/10/2012: EL = 4 inches / BPEL = 4.75 inches / EG = 5 inches (mid shaft)

Short Term Goal : EL = 4.5 inches / BPEL = 5.25 inches / EG = 5.25 inches

Long Term Goal: EL = 6 inches / BPEL = 6.5 inches / EG = 5.75 inches

Hi Cdte17, thanks for getting back to me. I actually took starting pics with girth and length measurements so I know exactly where I measured from before and can assure you the measurement has been taken in the same place again. Length hasn’t changed at all (shame) but like I say girth seems to have increased slightly. I would rather it was nothing to do with me gaining weight as that means losing weight won’t affect the extra girth, thankfully.

I’m definitely keeping up the new fitness regime though - I must have put on at least an inch and a half’s worth of fat pad, so it would be good to see that inner bit of my dick again :-P

Yes. The more obese you are, the more problems with cardiovascular system you (probably) have = loss of EQ. The fitter you are, the better blood flow you have = you unit works better.

Yes - me. After losing some fat (around 15 pounds) I noticed that my erections are a lot firmer and stronger (before losing weight I was - hate to say it -sometimes soft).

One note - you will notice fluctuations of your EQ if you just started working out. You must watch your body while you train. If you go hard on yourself in training most likely your EQ will drop a little (libido too), but I assure you it will come back. With a vengeance :D

Yeah I’m pretty lucky in that respect, the missus often comments on how “rock hard” it is - although if it improves even more so much the better :woot2:

In my early teens till mid 20’s I was working out 4-5 times a week, lifting weights and doing various cardio work so I have a pretty good core base - just need to work on getting back to my fighting weight.

Anyway, the upshot is, losing weight shouldn’t have any affect on my girth - that makes me happy ;o)

Well no connection between body fat and girth, and if what you’re thinking of is true, then all people will be obese by now :) In fact gaining weight can take off your penis length, so here you have a disadvantage. The pubic fat area is a part of the stomach fat, but you cannot remove it by exercising your stomach, here its a totally different story. You can remove it only with a good diet. So the answer is no its kinda impossible to gain anything in girth by just gaining weight.
