Recently I’ve been having issues with weak erections. I’m hoping it’s mostly psychological but I’m not 100% sure.

I have morning wood but not 100% hard. It’s about 70-80% and jumps to 90% when I kegel. My workout consists of warmup, stretches, jelqs, followed by ulis (clamping with hand). Recently in the past week I haven’t been able to finish a routine. Once I get to uli’s my dick can’t get to the 90-100% hardness that it requires to hit ulis.
I have no fucking idea what’s wrong. I’m scared it is a physical problem with my dick because I’m usually really horny but it may be that I am becoming insensitive to porn.
I lose arousal quickly but when I’m aroused I can kegel my dick to 95% hardness which lasts a millisecond.

I’ve also gained quite a bit in the past 2 months, about 1.7cm EL and a lot of girth. I noticed because I jerk off completely differently with much larger motions. Recently though I can’t get it hard enough to do anything with it besides some stretches and low EQ-jelqs.

TBH I have slacked when it comes to kegels so could that be the problem that my penis is getting huge but I’m not training my blood circulation to fill my new penis?

Anyways.. I guess I’ll stop all workouts and porn and jerking off and just do tons of kegels until my EQ is back up. Good plan?

Anyone experience lower EQ after a while of PE? I’m kind of freaked out. It’s weird because during the first month of PE I was ROCK HARD and my libido was nuts.

I think you’ve got the right idea by taking a break- possibly even take one from kegels because it is possible to overwork that muscle as well. Just stay away from porn and PE for a few days and I’m sure it will be alright. It probably is highly psychological and I read that you injured yourself quite recently, maybe you started up again too hard too quickly when you werent ready too. Especially if your a noob doing erect bends, that shizz is dangerous!

Yeah, take a break. Do something else. When your night wood wakes you and you can’t sleep because of that you know it will be time for PE.

I found that too when I started PE but I stayed going and had no erection problems during sex, just morning wood wasn’t great. I put it down to my penis been worked hard and stayed going. 6 months into PE and I have made good gains, morning woods are still only ok but no problem when I am having sex or with pam and 5 sisters. Personally I don’t read much into morning woods.

My morning wood has been all over the place since I started PE. Like Maxwell, I don’t see any problems during sex so I’m not too worried about it.

You may be a little depressed.

When you get back into the PE you need to work out according to your EQ. Check out the thread on PI’s, it’s somewhere around.

I think EQ is the main indicator as to whether your routine is right for you, what is your routine? Some people gain better on 100 jelqs and 5 minutes stretching every second day.

It’s a plan: nothing wrong with it, but I don’t think it’s necessary for you to go cold turkey and get maniacal about Kegels.

From a purely psychological standpoint, I don’t think you need to get in the habit of going from one extreme to the other.

This much is true: you can never go wrong with Dr. Kegel’s exercise.

Kegels (done non-erect) can be accomplished daily, and just about anywhere. If you do 25 - 50 a day you should be fine. There’s no indication that there’s an appreciable difference much past 50 a day, but… it can’t hurt. Knock yourself out.

What I think is most important is: pick a time you can be consistent with.

For example, I do mine when I ride the subway system or drive in a car on whatever morning commute I find myself on. You need about fifteen or twenty minutes. Let’s say: a) squeeze for five seconds, b) hold for five seconds, c) release for five seconds counts as one; easy enough to remember, so just do that daily and you’ll see stronger erections. I’d make it the same time every day for convenience sake; it’ll help to make sure you do them daily.

That’s sort of the foundation of developing a routine: consistency.

The next step is to make sure that you are doing enough, but not going so crazy that you’re wearing yourself out.

A compulsive porn habit alongside a rigorous or aggressive PE schedule can most certainly lead you to showing signs of fatigue. Sounds like what you got.

You need to find a balance. Perhaps the answer is less masturbation and the same amount of PE.

I’d guess the answer going to be found by balancing the apparent needs of your sex drive against your somewhat over-achieving need to gain.

The fatigue you’re feeling is your body’s reminder to you that you’re not indestructible. It doesn’t sound like it’s a serious problem ( i.e. permanent damage), but it indicates a tendency to want too much of a good thing on all fronts (the workouts and porn and jerking off).

The hardest part of all this is figuring out your limits. At this point I’d say you’re pushing yours a bit. So ease up, right? Scale back the porn, and the jerking-off, and maybe make the PE routine a bit less severe.

Maybe is too much porn and masturbation? I would lay off porn and masturbation for a couple of weeks, and maybe cut back a bit in the kegels and the PE. I don’t think you need to lay off PE as you seem to be doing great in that aspect and it doesn’t seem to be an injury.

I don’t think you can find a better PI than the gains you have achieved. So see how that goes and if you think you need a small break from your PE then take one.

Thing is, Gryphon, Kegels would not be his problem - even if he did 500 in day (there’s no reason do that many, of course, but if you did it wouldn’t hurt you or your EQ). You won’t fatigue yourself with Kegels, and they only improve morning wood.

However, they will not cure his fatigue and slightly flagging erection quality. To fix that most likely he has to dial back the porn and jerking-off, and possibly some of the PE, depending.

Oh sorry Mr. Happy my bad :) . But I am curious if the kegels exercise the PC muscle, cant it get fatigued? I mean it is still a muscle right?

You have now made me doubt as I am pretty certain most of the time in the forum I have read that there is one thing as over training with kegels thus weakening the PC. So in your experience it doesn’t happen?

As I recall, the type of muscle that comprises the BC muscle is roughly akin to the abdominals, and both recover from the strain of activity quickly.

There’s a point where working it will stop being useful (and on a practical level, why do 100 if 25 will do?), but it’s not really going to ‘fatigue’ the penis, and the muscle fatigue itself will not impair function.

I mean, I suppose if you set out to wail on your BC muscle for an extreme Kegel session you could make it really tired, but even then my guess is it would snap back pretty fast.

Thanks eeryone for your responses, especially Mr. Happy. You pretty much nailed it. I jerk off at least once a night, sometimes two. Every time I jerk I edge for about an hour while watching my fav shows online. Before PE I would masturbate for about 10 minute and be done but now that I’m edging I watch porn like I watch TV. LOL! I’m still paranoid but I’m quite sure it’s psychological at this point. Insensitivity to porn + overworked penis + jerking off too much + no kegels w/ growing penis = weak EQ.

SO:
Ejaculation no more than 3 times a week from now on unless it’s sex.
Consistency with Kegels. Bigger dick needs more blood.
Porn only for 10 minutes a day while I uli.
I’m going to cut out edging for a while until my libido is back. I’m sure it will come soon after a few days of non-jerking.

My routine:
I started with the noob routine. After 2 weeks I adjusted my routine to something like this:
5 minute hot wrap warm up (with a REALLY hot towel)
20 minutes stretching [I repeat the bottom routine while I watch a tv show]
-15 seconds each direction (left,right,up,down,diagonals, and straight out)
-30 seconds v-stretch
10 minutes light-moderate jelqing
10 minutes ulis (10x1minute holds)
Edge until I’m happy.
5 minute warm down.

More is more for me I guess.. Until now I’m forced to have some down time. I also work out a lot so I believe my elevated testosterone and supplements may have helped with my gains.

I’ll continue stretching and jelqing as I can but no masturbation for a week.
Hope I’ll be back on course soon. PEing is giving me a lot of stress lately.

That routine looks all right to me.

My guess is you get into trouble with the edging, as it likely encourages the porn/jerk-off habit.

There’s nothing that says jerking-off will hinder gains, BUT if you are ejaculating a lot you will tire your body out and if you combine that with a steady PE workout, your dick might just decide he doesn’t want to play any more.

Just to be clear, there are a few different kinds of fatigue:

1) muscle fatigue - like in weight lifting; time is needed to recover. As far as Kegels go, this is the least or your worries. At one point I was doing 200 or so a day. No big deal. I have just found that it wasn’t any improvement on doing 50 or so. So why bother? Kegels aren’t likely going to produce any noticeable fatigue that will have a negative impact on your abilities and doing them daily definitely has a positive effect on your wood. I only included “muscle fatigue” on this list to differentiate it from the other two.

2) ejaculatory fatigue - when you have a lot of sex or masturbation (i.e. a lot of ejaculations), your body needs time to recover, and replenish the semen and sperm. This costs your body something in terms of protein and zinc, etc.; and your body needs time to synthesize this and that takes energy (to have that energy you need to eat well and get decent rest). You will also to see your refractory time go up, gradually at first, but longer and longer if you persist. This is your body signaling you that it needs more time. It’s possible to push yourself for a few days with lots of intense sexual activity and lots of ejaculating, but eventually your body will say “Dude, I can’t do this anymore.” if you just keep on on keeping on. This can give you problems with morning wood and general responsiveness. If this is your problem and it’s not the PE, you just need to remember to occasionally let the edging be edging and not give in to ejaculating so much.

3) PE fatigue - this is when the stresses of what you are doing to accomplish PE are too intense and your body recoils: using too much force when you stretch, hanging with too much weight, pumping with too much pressure - or doing any of it for too long or too many sets. Basically with too much PEing even at the right level of force, if you do too many sets, you can have problems, as this stuff will have a cumulative effect. This also produces a lack of responsiveness, but if this is the cause it’s more serious and PEing should be stopped for a week or two.

Because the last two can get somewhat interconnected it’s hard sometimes to determine what the problem is.

The point is you really have to pay attention to your body, so you can define your limits, have good sex, and still strive for gains.
