Waterproof Tape

To avoid blisters again I bought a waterproof tape as suggested by other members.
It’s like normal tape, it hurts on the glans. Is it really a good thing to do? Should I not care about it and use the tape? I want to use it when using an extender.

What kind of waterproof tape?

Anything with an adhesive on it is gonna hurt coming off the glans.

I use rescue tape, which is a silicone tape with no adhesive that sticks to itself. Even with that, I have to peel it off slowly and carefully to avoid pain.

Yikes! That hurt me just to look at the picture.
I use a knock-off of Res-Q-Tape.
The thickness varies with the tape width. I’ve tried everything from 1” to 2”. I like the 1.5” stuff best.

If you’re careful taking it off the first few times, you can get indefinite use out of a single piece. When it gets dirty, just rise it off and let dry. Truly great stuff.

How should I use it? Should I cover also the top of the glans? I am sure I am not fitting it properly because the glans with the tape gets bigger (rectangular?) and I don’t think it fits the extender
