Warming up in bathtub vs shower make that much a difference

Ok so the first few days I would normally warm up just by taking a shower. Then I would do my man stretches followed by jelqing using a lighter newbie version. My routine is 30sec stretch in every direction and I do 50 jelqs for now but will increase by 10 every 3rd workout. I really didn’t get a heavy hanging feeling after I was done but EQ and sex drive seemed better. Today I decided to sit in the bathtub for about 10 min and clean up that way. After I was done stretching and jelqing I wasn’t sore but definitely felt heavier. So is it just my body reacting differently or is heating up using a bath that much more effective? Do I need to maybe do more jelqs to get the sore and heavy feeling? Thanks for your responses.

I dont got a bath tub myself but from reading; I have noticed that every person that does have one and is using it to warm up has good gains/ is positive about it.

If you don’t use enough hot water or if you don’t shower for a long time (>10mins) chances are that it isn’t enough for a warm up, but you can’t go wrong with the tub. Either way, if you want to spare money go with a “dick cup” with hot water in it for 5 minutes.

I warmup in the bathtub. I do flaccid stretches (30 sec) and manual clamps (can’t get a cable clamp or similar in my country). I don’t jelq because I’m uncut and don’t want the excess skin.

I tried it under the shower, but for flaccid exercises, you can definitely tell the difference. It stretches a little bit longer in the tub, but the big difference is that it feel a lot smoother and uniform stretch in the bath than in the shower, where it needs more force and tingles a lot, like only parts are stretching).

Yea I usually do shower for about 10 min but it was just amazing the difference it made for me at least. But like you suggested I’m going to try the “dick cup” lol and see how it goes.

Boy, I’m going to sound real dumb for asking this (but I’m going to use the line “I’m a newbie and new to PE exercises” for as long as I can), but is a “dick cup” just any ‘ole cup you fill with hot water for PE? And one that you won’t be drinking out of? <Chuckling>

Bath tub is my favorite way to warm up, not only does your cock get the perfect warm up, your entire body is warmed up and it helps keep your cock warm longer.

Yeah, I recommend a small plastic coffee container I keep a bunch of them for emergency warming up. Wash it out every so often.

Thanks bluray! I checked out your progress thread incidentally before you replied. Very impressive stuff! It’s motivating me to post my starting stats soon and finally get on the ball with PE.
