Hi Everyone,

I’ve just re-started PE two weeks ago, so no point in talking about gains yet.

However, since I discover how important a good warm up is (it took me six weeks to fully recover from an injury due to no warm-up and too much exercise.ouch!) and I know how fiddly it can be, I though I’d share my newly found and very practical warm-up method with the forum.

Take two or more (depending on your length) tennis wristbands, soaked them in hot water and by the time you have squeezed the excess water out, they will be the perfect temperature.

Then, just slide them onto your penis one after the other and you’ll soon discover that not only they retain water without almost any leakage, but also, thanks to the cotton being elasticised, they always fit so tightly and completely around your penis (no matter how small you are!) that once you start exercising you really feel your penis COMPLETELY and UNIFORMLY warm and relaxed.also the feeling of sliding into something soft, tight, wet and warm is always nice ; )

That, is a brilliant idea. And everyone can get those kinds of flanneling sweat bands without any trouble, which just adds to the genius.

I love it how the simplest ideas are the best… The kinds of ideas that make you go; “now why didn’t I think of that?!”

I’m going to try using a bottle of hot water and putting a sock over it or something so I don’t burn myself.

Nice idea (and 2nd post too).

Not being a tennis player (not for a while anyway), are these things available in multiple sizes? What kind of size are the ones you have (girthwise).

How long do they hold the heat? About 30 seconds? I’m going to stick with my electric heat pad.

For Memento: I think they come as one size only girth-wise, but they are definitely available double-sized length wise (for the lucky ones! : ) Maybe there is a smaller one-size for kids. However, I am just 4” 1/2 in circumference when flaccid and they fit nicely tightly. Sometimes I am erected or semi at the end of a session when I put them on to warm down, and although I am not more than 5” 1/2, they are by no means tight.

For gprent: You’d be surprised to discover that they actually hold heat quite well. They are designed to absorb large amount of sweat and are fairly thick, hence even when the outside (water) begin to cool down, the water inside is still at the same warm, initial temperature. I sometimes hold the package with my hands to prevent thermal exchange (especially if it’s a cooler day), or I simply rinse them and re-soak them with ‘fresh’ warm water. Anyway, they generally last for the whole 5 minutes of the warm up.

Sounds like an excellent idea, less messy than my current hot flannel approach :)

I’m also new to PE and this forum and currently I’m using a hot towel. This is a pain and makes a mess in my bathroom. I think I’ll try your idea.

Welcome to the forum. The facecloth method can be a pain but it’s the best warm up method I’ve used (I haven’t tried this, of course).

How about massaging through the band? How does that work out?

When I used a standard facecloth, I’d ring it out until there was very little water - effectively creating a steam environment - and then massage through the facecloth when applied.

I’ve been using a washcloth soaked in hot water, wrung out reasonably tho not excessively, then wrapped and popped into a plastic bag (so I can escape the bathroom without leaving a trail everywhere).

Mornings, I also stretch for a while, then jelq a little, then nice hot shower, then jelq a little more. For the rest of the day it’s then stretches only. Lots of them tho!

I’m surprised it stays hot enough for a complete warmup. I used to changeover maybe every 30 seconds or minute or so with a washcloth (the american equivalents always screw me, it’s a “flannel” to me).

If you are that restricted have you considered buying a hot water bottle? They are a great way to do heated stretches.

I guess you’d need one of the longer (double) ones for that. However, I don’t think it’d work for me for the simple reason that hot water/steam/ambient make my penis go so incredibly soft, flaccid and pre-pubescently small (it freak me out a little actually.! : ) That I suppose it wouldn’t practically possible nor add any particular benefit.

But if you reckon massaging while warming up would be beneficial, I’ll definitely give it a go and let the Forum know.

Hoho.. I’m as English as the day is long (unlike my willy ;) ).. I only used the word ‘washcloth’ because it’s more universally recognised! It is indeed a (spare!) face flannel.

Still works reasonably well tho, and yes I *think* it represents a long enough warm-up.
