Warm up before ADS

My apologies if this has already been posted, I tried searching the forums to no avail. Should I be warming up before using an ADS? This is my second day using the ADS, and just want to know what to incorporate with it?

I am thinking about incorporating about 100 Jelqs into the equation, and of course, kegels. I haven’t PE’d in months but I figure if I take it slow with the ADS (only did 15 minutes yesterday, thinking about 30 today) and work my way up then it shouldn’t be too hard on my unit?

I’m using vitamin E oil for recovery, anything else that speads up recovery? I remember seeing a thread about it but couldn’t locate it. Any input appreciated!

It certainly couldn’t hurt to do a warm up before using the ADS. The ADS I use incorporates low tension, so there’s not much chance of damaging my equipment. I was wearing it for 8 hours, give or take an hour, within a few days of trying it out. Now I typically wear it 4-5 days a week, at least 8 hours, sometimes up to 12. By the end of the day, I’m ready to take it off and let Seymour relax. Why is it named Seymour? Because he always wants to SEE MORE action!

My routine - before I got the dratted thrombosis - was to do some light jelqing (50-100) in the shower to get it nicely stretched out, and then immediately put on the ADS to help ensure that the recovery would happen while it was still stretched. I haven’t been able to jelq for a couple of weeks now, but the last time I measured there were noticeable gains.

I added some arginine to my vitamin E oil, but it didn’t quite dissolve. I’ve also used MSM liquid and even DMSO to help heal, especially on the glans as it’s a bit discolored from the ADS silicone cup I use.

Great post jimbeaux, that is what I figure to do with mine as well. The warmup in the shower, then putting on the ADS is a great idea as well.

What do you use for jelqing? Baby oil?

One more question for you jimbeaux,

I have some slight discoloration around the glans before using the ADS (and I’m fearful more will develop when I used the ADS), what do you do to treat it?

Anyone kegel while wearing an ADS? Feels good man.

I guess your are on the right truck.warm up is important not just in PE but in most recommended exercises
