Warm-up and sperm quality

I know there is an issue about warm testicles and quality of sperm in terms of fertility. Is there one method that is better than others? Currently I take warm showers while I protect my scrotum with one hand.

My girlfriend has expressed some thoughts about having a baby in the future and I don’t wanna be infertile whenever we have a chance.

It is true that heat is damaging to the health of spermatozoids. But it is temporary. However I don’t know how much time is necessary for sperm quality to be back.

It’s not showering that you need to worry about. Go ahead. Let the warm water hit your scrotum; bathe thoroughly.

The problem is with hot tubs, electric blankets, even heated water beds. But even after that kind of exposure to heat, sperm levels will return to normal in as little as a week; maybe up to several months.

Is it bad that when I warm-up for the PE exercises I do it with my testicles too in there?. I do it all the time and I use hot water :P

I always hide my testicles from heat, be it from IR light warm up or hot shower warm up. In shower I cup my balls with my hands or put them behind my legs and with IR light I use a sock around them secured by a cable clamp.

In my case, if heat has disastrous consequences for fertility, it would be rather good news. I have already experienced the joys of fatherhood … and all their collateral damages … ;)

Just use the warm up wrap around your penis. If your testicles are hanging out in the air, you’ll be fine.

Heat only cuts sperm count/motility by 30%. Not great birth control. :)
