Want to do PE, but scared of injury

He is slearly saying that he jelqed over his glans which IMO is a bad thing to do. Secondly, jelqing with very high erections is also a bad thing to do . This guy says he did about 100 jelqs which could lead to some blown capillaries.

So you cant really say this guy didnt screw up.

Looks like he didn’t do much research on how to jelq properly. No one here or any site advocates jelqing up the shaft and then over the glans. The closest thing I can think of that is like that is to do a Horse440 squeeze which is not a newbie excersize at all. I even think I got a thrombosed vein about half a year ago from doing Horses (which healed after a few months and I’m fine now, I even PE’d while I had it which I wouldn’t recommend anyone to do unless they knew there dicks really well).

I think what freaks me out so much is that, even if he did do those things, doesn’t it seem like he should have just been messed up for a couple weeks? The way he described it, he might have messed up his penis for life, either that or for many years.

Just to be sure, when you guys say going over the glans, do you mean jelqing over the head of your penis?

That’s exactly what I meant Nickleplate. Most people stop the jelq stroke just short of the circ scar (if circumsized) sometimes or else they stop right before reaching the glans (which most people do I think). They don’t continue jelqing up and over the glans after reaching their glans from the jelq stroke.

I learn more everyday on this forum. This routine I got off a website said nothing about stopping at your glans during jelqing. I’ve been doing it for a while now and I guess I’m very lucky I didn’t injure myself. Thanks for that info guys.

Interesting. I’ve been PE’ing for 1.5 (not counting the 4 months of taking PE pills before I got into real PE) years and I have done good research from many sources and from what I remember most everyone recommends stopping the jelq stroke at the glans or about a half inch to a inch behind the glans. I guess some people can naturally (without any PE) handle the doing the way you advocate.

I can’t remember the websites address but I actually started out PE by using there methods and one of there methods/excersizes was the jelq-and-hold for increased head size where basically you jelq up the shaft with a nice semi-erection and then hold the pressure at the head for glans gains as well as girth gains.

All sorts of things that some people can get away with that will hurt most people. He did the jelqing improperly, at to high a level of erection, and he did more than he should have to start with. If you really don’t see that as doing something “that bad” then perhaps you shouldn’t mess with PE. What he did was bad enough to mess up his penis.

You can blow a disk in your back pealing a banana. You are probably more likely to win the lottery but crazy stuff does happen. If you do the newbie routine as laid out, use the videos and some common sense, and ask questions when in doubt it is nearly impossible to get hurt. The vast majority of guys that get hurt fall into three categories. New guys doing dumb crap. Guys that know better but have a mental short for a second or two. Veterans that decide to experiment on a new or extreme method.

I would advise trying out the newbie routine as laid out. Watch the videos so you know exactly how to do them. Be aware that you may get red spots on your glans at first and do a search for “lig pops” so you don’t poop your self if you get one.

Actually, being cautious gives you a better long term out look for PE than any other approach. Nothing messes up your PE career like an injury and the vast majority of them can be avoided.

Exactly. I think everyone’s physiology is unique. There is no guarentee that if you do everything “by the book” that this won’t happen to you. There is a certain risk to PE regardless of what routine you do.

That story scared me. I just started clamping yesterday. I’m definitely going to have this in the back of my mind going forward. I think that is a good thing.

People shouldn’t dismiss this as carelessness. Everyone should be a little scared when doing PE in my opinion - it is exactly what keeps you from going overboard.

I do really “extreme” clamping. I can work like this for an hour. Is this the genes, or do I have a super elastic dick? (I don’t think so, it didn’t look anytihing like super before I started PE..)

No it’s just that I support my PE workouts in every way possible, and the most important of them being not ejaculating too often.

When I was doing my 1 month PE camp, I ejaculated about once a week, just because I had to.. ( I felt like my balls were about to burst).

Nick said he has a partner so he can’t do this sort of thing..

It is possible buddy. You can do sex 5 times a day, everyday, and still not ejaculate.
I say this because I did this. After mastering kegels and edging, it is just no problem for me. I don’t feel any necessity or urge to ejaculate any more.. I just bang, the girl comes, and sex finishes without my ejaculation.

The great part is this: since I don’t ejaculate, I don’t feel any fatigue etc. after sex. Actually, quite the opposite: I feel like energised even after hours of sex.

That still doesnt prove that not ejaculating helps in avoiding injury. What mantak chi’s book says is that a person should refrain from ejaculating for better energy levels and a better health. Kindly quote the page number in the book that suggests your point of view.

Not ejaculating may be good in some way. I dont know yet. You may feel higher levels of energy. But that doesnt mean that you can avoid injury. I have hung weights, done jelqs and clamped. Ive been injured in the process never because I was ejaculating but rather because I pushed my limits and looked for faster gains untill my dick spew out blood.
