Vitamins- Which ones and How

Vitamins- Which ones and How

I started a beginners routine this week.

I’m wondering which vitamins you guys recommend for consistent and cemented results.

Current: 6.1 BPEL, 4.5 MEG
Goals: 7.5 BPEL, 5.5 MEG

I am not a very big supporter of the pharmaceutical industry - with the exception of Ginseng pills.

I eat 4-5 times per day a fruit or raw vegetable. Do that since I am able to think for myself. I am pretty convinced Mother Nature offers all it takes to stay healthy.

As for specific vitamins and supplements, the question in my eyes is more if you want to make your progress and cementing depending on external sources or the sheer power of your will and the PE-wisdom you accumulate over the years.

But I have to admit I have maybe a kind of a very principal point of view on this questions! A little too radical for a lot of people - and I know it.

I should have added recovery as a desired benefit as well.

I’ve always felt that the bodybuilding industry had created a world in which even normal men think they need supplements to get larger..

I’m sure there’s a point where the body can no longer get larger naturally, hence the need for extra supplementation. Most men never achieve that level though.

I think the same may apply to PE. I will find how my body responds as I go along.

Then, 6.1 x 4.5 Now, 7.25 x 5.25

I think it is not very useful to compare bodybuilding to PE. BB is all about building skeletal muscles and loosing fat, and even water short before a competition. It is established as culture and science and naturally a corresponding industry evolved around it.

Now the science and culture of PE is much more hidden. You may well get a lot of pills for growth which contain a wild mixture of the well-known ingredients from various popular beliefs. Without checking the drug interactions and, most of all, without clinical evidence!

That is why Thundersplace is so interesting - we share the knowledge and our experiences and by this create evidence. Maybe one day a Dr. in PEology will write his first thesis as a meta-study using the research methods of PE of this forum.

Or we start to create a huge methods / routines / ingredients vs progress database and hope all people feeding it are sincere and deliver the same quality if data. That would be the revolution if PE, the final breakthrough: a real evidence based data set of PEology based on thousand of volunteers.

I’d like to have that title in my business card:

Or as the veterinarians say: Digitus in recto initium sapientiae est!
