Hey everyone, long time no post from me..

I’m just about to start a new routine as of now and see how this works out. I’m in a position now where I can afford a decent pump, and should have one within the next 3 weeks.

My big question is do a variety of techniques work any better than jelqing alone? For instance I was thinking of a combination of jelqing and pumping. It’s a basic theory, but I figured the newbie routine, followed by pumping, might stand a better chance of solidifying gains over time.

Pump is not a good idea to combine with newbie routine you will end up overdoing it. The biggest mistake newbies sometime make are to get too exciting and expecting too much too soon. Take it easy dude! "Newbie routine alone” is fine you may add up pump routine after 6 - 8 weeks of PEing

I’d recommend pumping after 6 months of PE, at least…

Though I’ve read numerous threads about pumping, I’m still scared to try it myself.

I feel like for a newb like me it may be too much.

Some people have found combining different techniques together to be beneficial, but in doing so you increase the risk of over doing it, especially if you’re new. If you are just starting out then you don’t really need to get into pumping, and I’d suggest sticking with the newbie routine. If you have to pump take it very easily to start off and monitor your EQ.

To me, jelqing is the “bread-and-butter” exercise which should comprise the majority of your routine, especially since you’re just starting out. Other methods such as hanging and clamping are recommended for more advanced PE’ers. Condition your penis to handle the workload first, then look to expand your repertoire.
