I want to personally strongly recommend the GynoFlex over the KegalMaster2000. For my wife, the KegalMaster was pinchy, tough to clean, and worst of all eternally procrastinated. In other words, flat out never used due to it’s less than friendly design. I would second Zane’s preference of the GynoFlex. It is simple, the fulcrum is more anatomically well placed, easy to clean, and it just doesn’t look as “scary”. Your wife would be able to relate to what I mean by scary after a good pinch or two. I believe that if your wife faithfully used the GynoFlex for 6-8 months (you’ll probably notice a difference alot earlier) she may possibly be even more responsive than ever. (When nursing is over).
My wife and I have had 4 children, all born at home naturally. Each one has been nursed a minimum of 18 months, in fact, we nurse exclusive to both food and water for the first full year. Breast milk and breast milk only. Just 3 months ago, we stopped nursing our 4th and my wife is definitely more responsive (even aggressive) than ever. I believe even exceeding our first year of marriage.
So, fear not my friend. But, at the same time, (I’m sure this is unnecessary to say but just in case) make sure through your impatience you don’t sow seeds into her that choke out the good fruit that will naturally re-blossom in time. In other words, pressure, complaint, criticism, and comments cleverly conceived (by you) yet secretly perceived (by her) as any of the aforementioned.
The single most important reason for a woman to restore her pelvic floor muscles is for health, recuperation, and preparation for the potential of a subsequent pregnancy. Four months is a great time to begin/accelerate that process.
