Hello! I’m kinda new to this. I’m looking for some advice about how girth is accomplished through stretching. I have a device similar to the x4labs, and well I’ve seen gains in length but not really in girth. I wear it for three hours at a time with a short break in between. I also wear it to work when I can, that is when there is not that much to, ie climbing ladders or bending over to much. I get the most freedom at home when I’m free to be exposed. If anyone has any advise it will be very helpful, if more info is needed I can go into more detail.

Extenders / Stretchers are for length, at best it will give you some minor base girth gains (nothing mid-shaft).

As long as you’re gaining length, you’re making progress. Most guys have no trouble gaining girth, while a fair number of guys don’t gain length that easily. Some veterans believe advanced girth work hinders length gains (based on their own experience). This is why you’ll see many say length first, girth second.

If you try & do girth work while you’re still working with the extender, there’s a chance it may hinder your length gains (.e.g I have seen guys try & do length exercises, then they complain they are not gaining length… then you check their log & they are clamping… go figure huh?)

Once you’re done working on length, you can switch to maintenance work for length (cementing your gains) & then you’ll be ready to focus more on girth. Even if you don’t believe in length first, girth second, it’s good to do it that way, just in case.

Thx for the input though I also wonder why it looks kinda like I’m turtle necking when stretching. Also it looks like I get more girth in the head and the base. How should I tend to the mid shaft

Right now while you’re working on length I would recommend doing jelqs after your stretching routine. Here is a quick little article you can read on how to jelq:

Question, I was reading a post about clamping, and there was something I read talking about clamping behind the head to enlarge the head portion, if I understand what I read then you could make your head larger then the shaft so it would end up looking like a stick with a ball stuck on the end.

Also would it be a good idea to clamp before and or after stretching? (I mean clamping at the base.) correct me if I’m wrong but when clamping it’s forcing as much blood in and having it stay there for a short period of time like 3 minutes..

Clamping is for girth; this is one of the few exercises that seems potentially able to slow down length gains. If you’re going for girth, clamping is one of the best exercises possible; but if you’re going for length, its probably not going to help much.

You were just talking about using stretchers / extenders.

I know guys that tried to mix them already & stopped because the clamping stalled their length gains.

Is it true that a stretcher can fix a bent or twisted unit?

Any ideas on why when I flex my PC muscle it tends to pull to one side?
