Upward or downward jelqing and length gains

Do you gain more length from jelqing downward or upward? Or straight out?
Or does it not matter?

I have heard downwards will give you more length. But chances are the more experienced ones here will tell you to do a search on it.

Downward jelqing applies some force to the ligs, so if you’re a lig kind of guy, it’s for you. :)

I always (90%) if the time jelq upward at about 9 - 10 o’clock.
