Unintentionally inflated PE gains for Newbies?

From the time I first measured to now, I’ve gained about .3” in length and girth in about 6 weeks. This doesn’t seem unbelievable since many newbies also report similar gains.

However, I’ve also noticed that the length and girth are dependent on how “pumped up ” my penis is. My measurement when I first started was before I even jelqed, but I know now that after I jelq, my penis is bigger than it would be in any other normal circumstance.

My feeling is that maybe my max size was always what it is now, it’s just that I didn’t know it before since I hadn’t jelqed it up? I suppose it’s similar to other forum posters who say that their max size is most apparent when they use a pump, but that aside from being inside the vacuum chamber, it’s never quite that big. I’m thinking that maybe what I’ve observed may be happening to some other newbies as well.

I still believe that we can make huge gains over time, just maybe I’m not growing as fast as I thought. What do you guys think?

I realised the same thing some time ago. What I do now is RIGHT BEFORE I measure I do a strong kegel to force as much blood in as I can, then I measure very quickly.

Yeah, obviously after a jelqing session your penis is swollen thus giving you bigger measurements. Best thing is to do your measurements before your jelqing session, either way it doesn’t matter as long as you’re consistent.

I think it is human nature to delude yourself. Hence, I think MANY people are guilty of:

a. exaggerating their penis size
b. exaggerating their gains

Note: I think in most cases — DLD aside — it is unintentional. Like I said, this is human nature. How can you combat this?

Well, the second one is pretty simple. Take a consistant measurement.

That is, take a Bone Pressed Erect measurement — where you are pressing as hard as you can — under the same conditions, every time. That is, if when you started, you didn’t pop a Viagra 90 minutes before, and you didn’t Jelq 30 minutes before, etc., etc., continue to take your measurements under the same conditions, every time you measure.

As for measuring fairly altogether (where your 6 inches an honest 6 inches), well, take a good picture and post it here! People here are more than “generous” in helping other members sort out measuring irregularities. ;)

I don’t doubt that the gains will come over time, I just have some reservations that they actually happen after a week. Then again, everyone’s body works a bit differently. The Kegel recommendation is great. If I continue to get inconsistent measurements, I’ll post pics for advice. Thanks for the responses.

It also depends on what you view as your true size, fully inflated with cockring / viagra / in pump?, or take it as it is with just some jelqing normal erection. I don’t really see temporary inflation with jelqing. As for the pumping many people report increased length gains from it, which I do not see unless I purposely aim to put lymph fluid into the tip of my glans. The temporary girth gain from lymph is real though. I’ve found that I can gain .5 more without any donut or pumped up look. I keep this number in mind just in case I want to pump up for that special date :) I do not report lymph gains as my true gains though.

For you own record I think you should keep in mind the fully inflated size with viagra, cockring etc just so you know the fullest extent of the penis size and if you gained anything physically. Then you can compare it to your unassisted erection to see if you have increased blood flow and retention with the excercises. As to which you prefer to report, its up to you, pretty much whichever you are going to use for sex. If you use Viagra and/or cockring during sex, use that number! :)

If you only hit the skin that’s an NBP measurement and will vary with weight fluctuations and the phase of the moon.

If you press to the bone BP you are measuring against a fixed point, and thus more reliable measurements are possible.

Tracking gains is what this is about, not the size you might quote someone outside this place when you are bragging.

I have no problem with that. Looks like I’ve gained a quarter inch since I read this post. Yay me!

I imagine this has been discussed to death by the senior members. It appeals to me because just today I (being a geeky engineer with a little time on my hands) created a graph of my data so far. Only four points, but enlightening. I plan on measuring every two weeks, so another month will be two more data points and will be further illuminating.

So far, it looks like a classic exponential decay. I hope to the mythical anthropomorphic creator that is not the case, because after doing a little curve fitting, it would top out at about 7 inches. I guess that highlights the idea that you need to switch up the routine every now and then to keep the body guessing, just like in body building.

Having a degree of geekiness myself I plot my measurements on a graph and represent the uncertainty, or margin of error, as the vertical height of each datum point. I use +/- 0.1” for my BPEL measurements and +/- 0.05” for my BPFSL.

After 18 months, although progress is slow, all the data sits on a straight line.

Interesting idea to plot on a graph. Instead of us not-so-handy-with-numbers going out to find graph paper and rulers, I’m betting that I can make a pretty good graph and chart just using Microsoft Excel. If your theories prove correct, there should come a point at which the theory of marginal returns hits and gains slow. I think that by charting the gains over time, with the constants being size and date, we may be able to predict or anticipate gains.

Then again, it seems like switching routines also changes the returns for growth. I’d be interested in hearing more theories on this by you engineers. I’m sure it’s been discussed before, but there must also be some method by which to measure/guestimate the maximum potential gains from PE’ing. I’m sure it’s in the fourm somewhere, I’ll do a search.
