Uncircumcised Manual Stretching

I am trying to start off with the Newbie Routine, with a focus on length, so I am doing the manual stretches and the jelqing with a 40% erection. I also signed up for KegelCoach, which I have done before and am already in the intermediate section.

The main problem I’m having is with the manual stretches, and this is disappointing since I want to focus on length. I am uncircumcised, and the problem I’m having is the same as what maddogginit posted earlier; namely that I don’t see how an uncircumcised penis can be stretched at all, and furthermore that I don’t understand how any penis can be stretched. I watched the videos, but when I attempt to follow the instructions as shown I do not get the desired result.

If I don’t squeeze too hard, the skin moves over the head, resulting in a stretch of the skin but not of the penis. In these situations, it is not my fingers which are slipping, so I don’t see how latex gloves or toilet paper would help. I don’t feel a stretch inside the penis at all, so I don’t think this is working.

One of the posters in reply to maddoginit’s thread mentioned that you should try to grip the inner penis, which requires me to squeeze fairly hard. This seems to work for a little time (maybe 6-7 seconds) before it also makes the skin slip around the head or the head gets very engorged with blood, turns purple, and hurts.

Finally, I have a question about direction. I’ve been doing the stretches in all directions, but mostly I do it straight out, to the 9:00 position using the LOT diagram. This direction doesn’t seem to be recommended/shown in any of the example videos, but it is where I “feel” the most stretch. I would note, however, that even here I do not really feel much, so I’m wondering if the difficulties I attribute to being uncircumcised mean that I haven’t really felt what a real stretch is.

To conclude, I have two questions.

  1. For those uncircumcised gainers who may read this, do you have any suggestions for stretching? How did you get your length gains?
  2. When anyone stretches, is it a strong stretch feeling, similar to if you stretched other muscles/ligaments in your body (legs, arms), or is it a more subtle ache?

Personally, I’ve always done bundled stretches because it lets me get a much better grip (I only do a half turn). I don’t think you should be worrying too much about stretching skin - it stretches further than the penile tissue anyway (try pulling on just the skin while you’re erect to see).
With that said, I’ve never really done stretches without bundling (twisting your penis before gripping).
You’re not going to get the same feeling that you get in muscles. I hardly ever actually feel much inside my dick when I stretch, and I’ve gained decently since I started.

Be careful if you decide to try bundled stretches, though - don’t pull too hard.

I pulled the skin as far back as comfortable, grip behind the glans with an overhand O grip (never liked the underhand grip), pull my unit in the desired directions, and with the free hand (and this is the thing that worked for me), I would either a) make an inverted V with my free hand at the base of my unit and pull the skin back from there or b) pull the skin back from under neath the shaft near the testicles. Either of those always helped me with the skin slipping into my grip and making me put a ton of pressure on the glans.

2. More of a dull ache.

Thanks for the suggestion, Serenity. I’ve never tried bundled stretches, so I’ll have to check that out.

Just to clarify, I’m not concerned that I may be stretching the skin, but rather that when the skin goes over the head, the penis isn’t being stretched at all. My grip starts behind the head, but when the skin moves my grip moves with it (that’s why I don’t think latex gloves would help), and the result is that I just am stretching out the skin which has now been pulled over the head of the penis.

When you pull the skin back and grip behind the glands, is your grip in direct contact with the head? I try to start about an inch behind the head, because I thought it was bad to put direct pressure on the head. I’ve tried pulling the skin back at the base using the methods you mentioned, but then it feels like I’m stretching the skin in between my hands out, again not putting any pressure on the ligaments of the penis.

Good to hear that I should only be feeling a dull ache. That’s what I’ve felt, but I thought that perhaps I wasn’t putting enough pressure on it.

If you imagine your head being a doorknob on the end of a stick, that’s how I do my manuals.
Put 3-4 of your fingers around the penis after you’ve pulled the skin back as far as you can.
Wrap your thumb ‘around’ the grip and just pull. Be careful you don’t feel numbing etcetera in your head though.

Direct contact with the head would in most cases be a big no-no, but that’s mostly (I think) because people don’t
let the grip go if it hurts and just keeps going because “it’s just 10 seconds left”.

I sometimes get a real ‘stretching’ feeling and sometimes just a dull ache.

I got 1” in 1 year from manual stretching and it’s probably my favorite exercise. It’s pretty simple, actually, it just takes some time and experience to get everything right.

First of all, wash your penis and wash your hands. That way you won’t have any residue on the skin and it will make your grip much better. Otherwise slipping can be a problem and that will noticeably decrease the time you can hold the stretch.

As for stretching itself, pull back the foreskin completely using your pinky finger of one hand, then use thumb and index finger of other hand to squeeze out the blood from your glans and then use thumb and index finger of first hand to make a grip below the glans. This way you can grip fairly hard to have a nice, firm stretch without causing any swelling, discomfort and pain. When I do it this way, it takes over 4-5 minutes of consecutive stretching for my glans to start getting darker (of course, that’s when I stop stretching and smack it a bit to get the color back to normal). And that’s pretty much it. Depending on the angle of stretch, I can hold it up to 6-7 minutes (though I’m used to 2-5 minutes) before switching hands.

Depends on how strong you pull, but for now you should focus on feeling not being in the skin.

Pull foreskin back, kind of gently grasp to stop the foreskin from coming back, and then pull. Make sure you warm up. The only way to get length with being uncut is by stretching with your hand. Hanging is impossible. You will have to dedicate yourself. Once you have proper length (8-9inches, could take a year or so), you should begin downward jelqing cycle/program to achieve fat daddy girth, while erection at 60-85 percent, stop if you get a full monty erection, just point down your unit towards the floor while hanging off the edge of a chair with your but, grab the foreskin with some lotion and kind of massage the foreskin back up (leverage) to your base, and then while holding that foreskin and that grip, slide the entire hand downward toward the floor. Watch that sucker balloon up.

Just take your time bro you don’t want to rush into anything and always remember to never ever grip too hard with too much force especially while jelqing, you will bruise your veins and you may end up leaking one. I mean you have to really be pulling hard to do that though. I always say you want to be firm but you don’t want to be violent with your cock. Keep your head up.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. I took a rest day yesterday, so I tried everything out today again. Pulling the skin back at the base doesn’t really seem to help me, for one thing it’s a pretty complicated hand position, so it’s much more difficult for me to get a good stretch. More than that, however, when I pull the skin back and then stretch my dick down/forward, I feel the stretch on the skin between my two hands and not on the ligaments in the penis. I looked at the diagrams of ligs and tunica again, to focus my stretches on where I think I need it. I haven’t tried the bundled stretches just yet, because I’m only 1 week in, but I probably will try them in a week or two.

I think the thing that helped most was switching to an overhand OK grip, as UM1991 suggested. I start with my full hand grasping my dick, putting a lot of pressure on the sides with my thumb and index finger. I can hold this for about 10 seconds without the skin sliding along the inside of my dick, and as it does I just release one finger at a time, starting with my pinky and finally releasing my thumb and index finger after about 30 seconds.

I’m happy with this method so far. I do end up with my thumb and index finger pressed against the head, but I’ve normally held it for 30 seconds by that time, which is what the newbie routine recommends. UpTo7, you mentioned that you held the stretch for 4-5 minutes, wow! Am I going to see any results from 30 second stretches with 30 second rests in between, or should I try to gradually hold the stretches longer?

Gradually but slowly freeaccess, I’ve gone up to 45seconds/stretch now after around 3 months :)

I only go 10sec rest in between though, but I think that’s a individual thing. If you need 30 seconds, take 30 seconds. It’s all about how it feels.

While it’s not a good idea to stretch using the glans (head) as your main gripping point, that doesn’t necessarily mean you can’t use it to aid your grip.

I grip with an overhand grip behind the glans using my index and middle fingers to provide the grip force, but the glans sits in my palm behind my ring and little fingers, increasing the surface area that my hand has to grip. The actual ‘pulling force’ doesn’t fall on the glans, but it aids my grip a lot. You need to make sure your glans is dry for it to work well - toilet paper etc. helps here.

How about using monkeybar’s vacADS to grip the penis instead of your hands?

Good to know. I will definitely try this out. I have found that I get a much better stretch feeling when I do involve the head. I’m just concerned about losing sensitivity, as it seems that people cite pressure on the head as the main culprit for this injury. As my fingers slide up, the side of my gripping fingers end up pressing against the head. I am still getting most of the stretch due to gripping the penis shaft, but the skin gradually slides forward, resulting in me pressing up against the head. I will try to use your method, firegoat, and see if I can get a better grip.

Do you actually close your ring and little fingers around the head, or does the head just rest against your palm?

That looks like it might work. It doesn’t mention that it works for uncircumcised people on the website, but a few threads here have mentioned that it works well for uncut guys. (I would have put more, but here you go.)

Anyway, it looks like someone else also made this exact suggestion previously. I had read that thread before, but not really paid much attention to the VacADS until you mentioned it again. Seems like it’s a good option. Also, monkeyboy is reportedly uncircumcised (I read it in one of those threads above), so it would probably work well as an ADS for uncut guys anyway.

Conclusion: I will probably buy one of these eventually. Right now I’m still very new, so I want to see some results from manual exercises and also prove to myself that I’m really going to stick with this before dropping cash on it. Maybe in a couple months. That being said, if you buy it please PM me or reply on this thread so I know how it went. Thanks!

Close them, but not a hard grip. Just enough to create more surface area and grip - so I’m gripping the head, but not using it to pull.
