Ugh! My PE Journey - Advice Please!
LONG time lurker since 2004. I have only done PE twice since then and for not longer than 1.5 months. In that 1.5 timeframe, I definitely experienced good newbie gains, but I got lazy and complacent (and a girlfriend I pleased everytime). I’m currently 6” BPEL and 4.75 EG; I would be happy with 7” BPEL and 5.5” EG. I have only had one girlfriend who said I could be bigger, but the rest (out of many) have always been pretty happy with my performance. I suppose I’m lucky to have gotten good experience at an early age; I am now 34.
This weekend, on Saturday, I had sex with a friend (with benefits) and I could not stay hard. I did last a bit, but my erections are just not “as hard, quality, or lasting” as they were about a year ago or so. I would get soft after about 4 minutes of continual intercourse. She’s a very hard nut to crack, and disappointingly, I was unable to provide her an orgasm or stay hard long enough to do so. About 15 mins after ejaculating, I was ready to go again, but my erection was dying somewhat quickly in the moment. This is not usual for me at all!!
Please see the categories and relevant issues below and I would love to get some feedback. Thanks in advance for your time and consideration!!!
Loss of EQ
I used to get RAGING morning wood, up until about two years ago (started to decline at 32). I had to do a handstand just to pee. Now, I don’t get those raging morning woods anymore with that urge to urinate first thing. I’m concerned I may be dealing with testosterone loss; even though I feel quite young and horny, I’m just not getting the erections I used to. On average, I’m experiencing about 65% erection levels compared to what was 100% about two years ago.
I’m 34, I workout with weights 5 times a week, do cardio (running) 3 times a week, and I eat roughly 4-6 meals a day. This has been my regiment consistently for the last 5 years. I do heavy/hypertrophy splits and I do a lot of compound movements (squats, bb bench and rows, etc.) I feel I am in much better health than the average 34 year old and I’m VERY young at heart. My health regiment is a focal point and I think it keeps me feeling pretty great overall.
I started masturbating a lot more than usual in the last year, especially since last July of 2010. I noticed that in June, I could look at a girl in my gym, think about having sex with her, and I’d start to get hard. My testosterone was through the roof(!!) it seemed. I was asking out girls left and right, and had a few casual encounters, but then things got worse. I kept masturbating about once a day, sometimes twice, and I was so horny and I didn’t have a regular partner. In December of 2010, I cut back the masturbation substantially, because I wanted to start PE again.
I am currently on a second round of test boosters and aromatize inhibiters: Driven Sports Activate Xtreme (reputable test-booster) and Triazole (very reputable estrogen blocker): this is revered as one of the best test-boosting/libido stacks currently on the market with the blood-work to back it up. I’ve taken the recommended dose, but I think that it is lowering my estrogen too much, as I am feeling it is having a negative impact on my libido. This stack is supposed to increase libido, and I am feeling a slight decrease. I am making SIGNIFICANT strength gains in the gym, but the libido loss is very puzzling to me…This is why I am wondering if I am susceptible to low testosterone issues, chemically, even though I feel very virile and aggressive WITHOUT these supplements. I also take caffeine in the mornings of my workout days, because it gets me up early and I can have intense workouts early. I take VPX NO Shotgun. …OVERALL, I have decided that these test-boosting supplements are not good for me. I seem to have had better libido off of them last July when I was working out really hard and getting semi-erections just looking at a girl and thinking about sex with her.
I don’t feel this is psychological at all, but maybe subconsciously, it is. Overall, I feel great, but this is started to infiltrate my mind daily. I can get hard, but not as hard. No more morning wood (VERY concerning). Can’t stay as hard, as long, during sex. Yikes!
My Latest PE Effort
I started the standard Newbie Routine on Jan. 31st, 2011, so about two weeks ago. 5 min hot wrap/5 min 30-second stretches/10 mins wet jelqs/50 kegls/5 min hot wrap. Instead of 2 on/1off, I was doing every other day, as my last PE experience started with this and I had a really good time with it. PROBLEM after my 3rd session in the first week, I noticed it was getting harder to maintain an erection during my jelq session. I’ve done a search and read that this can be an issue, and you “just have to fight through it”, or you may have started off doing too much too soon. I am not sure at all. I understand my dick is not conditioned to this workout yet, and maybe I am one of those that needs to just take it slower. HOWEVER: my erections were not what they once were to begin with, and I noticed I did not have this problem when I did PE a few years ago. I am experienced enough with jelqing that I know what too much is, and I found that I would have to kegl in blood about every 10 strokes in order to go another 10 strokes to keep my dick at about 60%.
I have decided to take 2-4 weeks off of PE and even masturbation. I am doing this to test out whether or not my dick just needs a break and will come back to normal (i.e. harder erections, better morning wood, etc.), or if I am really experiencing something that requires medical attention. I will also stay on the testosterone/estrogen supplements for another 4-6 weeks and see how we go. This should not affect my in this area, but if it is, then I may have to see a doctor about my testosterone levels, or just get off of them much sooner. I like that they are working well with my strength.
1) Has anyone had a similar experience? If so, can you elaborate and what steps did you take to resolve, or rather, what worked best for you to get you to a better place?
2) Is my plan to take 2-4 weeks off from PE and masturbation a good one? Should I wait two weeks, and start over doing a session every 2 days and see how I go?
3) What other advice, ideas, or suggestions do any of you have.
Thanks again!!! I hope my post was not too long.
