I have trouble getting my cock hard after the warm up,I have literally to jack off to get an erection.It takes a lot of time! Any tips??

My newb routine goes like this-
Warm up,kegel,stretch,jelq,warm down,kegel

You don’t need to warm up in order to do kegels. First kegel, than warm up or do some kegels another time of the day, like at the evening.

I am with UncleJoe, you can Kegel at anytime. I personally like to incorporate an occasional Kegel while stretching or after each jelq. Your routine is fine, but I would think about doing jelqing before stretching since stretching fatigues your penis and it may be more difficult to get and stay partially erect for jelqing.

Why exactly are you trying to get an erection? Unless you are attempting erect jelqs, an erection is not necessary.

I second skeebo’s question. I don’t understand why you are trying to get an erection.

Nothing in your routine requires an erection. In fact, for your stretches and your jelqs, you should not have an erection.

I agree with the order that you have your exercises. I have always done stretching before jelqs because it helps fatigue the unit so that the jelq can be even more effective. I also, like gigolo, often will do a kegel while jelqing to pump more blood into my shaft so that my jelq is pushing more blood for a greater expansion.

Again, your cock should not be hard for your stretching and jelqs.

Probably he wants his unit to get hard because you can lift the towel during kegeling only if you are hard as a stone

What added benefit is there to lifting a towel while doing kegels? Does it work the penis harder or something?

To the OP, I did not mean to imply that one should ever be fully erect when doing any of those exercises. However, some excess blood is needed to properly jelq, so I think a semi erection or at least being plump works well.

Laeh, I was wondering if you could tell me why you think it is better to stretch first and jelq after. You mentioned fatige, but I am not very familiar as to why that is important for jelqing.

I would think one would want to save the fatigue for stretching since one needs a responsive penis for jelqing to maintain the blood in the penis…I just want to learn about why you think it is better the other way around. :)

Skeebo, the towel adds resistance just like dumbbell would for a bicep exercise. Your PC muscles have to work extra hard to lift the the towel in addition to the weight of your penis.

I have also read about a guy who uses a book for resistance. He lay down on his back with his erect penis on his stomach, opened a lightweight book and placed both sides of the book over his penis(his penis was in the crease of the book), and then he just Kegeled and his penis would move the book upwards.

Sure you can do Kegels without a towel (it is much easier and more practical), but I think using some form of resistance could be beneficial as well.

Just for the record I do Kegels when waiting for the bus and traveling to work. No tower at all.

I got a different problem with kegels. When I have sex with my gf I hold a kegel for almost the entire time, this makes my dick go soft. It´s a bad habit and it’s frustrating for both me and her. Anyone who´s got any similar experience/issues?
