Hello.
I’ve jelqed for about 3 months before I gave, partly because I became too busy but partly because I was becoming disappointed by the lack of improvement.
I don’t think I’ve had much improvement in length. As for girth, it looked slightly thicker, but more swollen than anything else.
The thing is though, it’s been 3 months since I stopped, and my penis has returned to its normal (pre-swollen) size.
So I was wondering if that was normal, and if there’s anything else I could have done to improve my routine.

Here’s how I did it.

I jelqed every other day, or one in three days if I didn’t have the time. So I guess I jelqed 2-4 times a week.

One session consisted of at first 12 minutes, but later 20 (towards the third month).

I don’t know if this matters, but my penis size is very small, which makes it difficult to jelq when it’s flaccid. So most of the times I watch porn while I masturbate. I was told that jelqing at full erection was harmful. So I tried to do it at 70% but I think sometimes I got too aroused and were jelqing at almost 100%.

I didn’t do the hot towel massage for 10 minutes but I did hose my penis for about a minute with hot water before every session.

I must have ejaculated once every two or three sessions (because of the porn).

So here are my questions.

1) Is there anything else I could have done to gain more effect?
2) I jelqed for three months but the effect was barely noticeable. Is this common? Does my size have much to do with it?
3) Even the barely-noticeable change was gone after I rested jelqing for 3 months. Is this common?? Would I have to jelq eternally to keep the gains with me permanently?
4) My penis didn’t look so pretty (looked rather swollen with blots at the root) after 3 months of jelqing, but this is normal right? (It’s returned to normal now after resting)
5) Oh, and one more thing! I want to focus more on girth than length (although improvement on my length at the same time would definitely be helpful!). Anything I should do differently in regards to this?

12 minutes of jelqing for 2-4 days a week is not likely going to produce any gains. If you’re dick looks beat up from such a light routine, then you probably need to review your technique, perhaps you are using too much force? Yes jelqing at close to 100% erection level is way too much for beginners and will be counterproductive (as you’ve seen).

Also, you didn’t mention manual stretches at all. Is there a reason you chose to omit them from the recommended newbie routine or did you just not mention it? If you haven’t been stretching, I would add that to your routine. Start low and gradually increase time.

While rest days have their place, a week of 5 rest days isn’t going to allow you to accomplish much. You will need to figure out a way to be more consistent in completing your routines if you want to achieve some growth.

So many other things…. “hosing your penis with hot water” isn’t a great idea. You don’t want it that hot, you want it to be a comfortable warming up of the tissue, not blasting hot water on it. Wrapping a warm wash cloth and reheating as needed always felt the best to me for warming up.

You’ve arbitrarily chosen to change a lot of the recommended practices for newbies. My recommendation would be to re-read the newbie routine, take 3 months, and do it as closely as you can to how it is described, you really need to work to get those workout days in. Regardless of your goals of girth or your starting size, this period of manual stretches and jelqs (done correctly) will set you on the right path to gains and get you conditioned so you can eventually tailor a routine as you desire.

Based on your questions here it sounds like you know very little about the depths of intricacies in PE available on this site to those who are willing to look. It also sounds like you are not particularly aware of your penis. You haven’t taken pre-measurements and don’t appear to be aware of the concept of EQ and the importance of general penis health in regards to making gains. I suggest you do lots of reading on this site about the information you want to know, it’s all there.

If you had done the newbie routine for 3 - 6 months as prescribed and still not achieved any gains then I would definitely be recommending you start trying out some hanging and/or pumping and/or clamping and/or a whole number of other more powerful PE techniques. Since you haven’t, I suggest you search, search, search and read, read, read!

p.s. Make sure you use the advanced search tool and search for ‘titles’ to get a much more useful list of search results.

Hmm thanks for the reply guys. To be honest my routine was based on instructions from another website. Looks like I’ll have to read more here to find out the exact routine and follow it as specifically as I can.

One thing I’m still curious about is though, is whether the effects of jelqing lasts even after you stop the routine. Any experiences on this?

Fair enough emir8s. I don’t intend to shitcan other websites, but Thunder’s is really the best place to be. Jelqing, arguably, increases girth, length and EQ. For some people jelqing will produce no length or girth gains but I don’t think there’s anyone who hasn’t received an EQ boost from it (at least no one who’s been doing it properly). EQ is something that needs to be maintained. If you stop jelqing, yes, slowly the EQ boost you should have seen from it is likely to wear off, as I understand it.

Buy a penis extender. Wear it 2-6 plus hours a day. Get to you desired length. Then build up your girth. You will be able to wear the extender while doing other things whatever that maybe. But know this, once the extender get to a certain length, about 16-18cm plus, it difficult to conceal in public. And one last point, be dedicated or don’t bother. Taking too much time off will hinder you.

Goal is 21 cm BPEL, 20 cm EL, 15 cm head girth.

You can gain like .75 inches the first year,(pick girth or length, hopefully a little of both) that’s with an intense committed routine, several hours a week. Each subsequent year can give you like another .25 an inch, with more hours per week thrown in.

Sorry, but this isn’t a pay site, there’s no reason to lie here. And, yeah, it sucks that it takes that long. People often act like you can join the two inch gain club just by going hard a couple years. But no, it’s more like 1.75 inches in four years.

But think about where that will land you! Debate about its permanence while you experiment with quitting to see if you can shrink your dick back at that point.

I guarantee you I will be continuing to fight the good fight to keep gaining while you are debating about life without PE.

I’ll take a 7.5 inch cock over an average one, even with a daily five year pursuit as the cost.
Just depends how bad you want/ need it.
