I was about two weeks into the newbie routine when I took a vacation and put the whole PE thing on hold for 2 weeks. On Sept. 1, I came back, and I think the break did me good. My length didn’t change at all (6.7 nbp) but my girth did go down to about 5.8 ms. I have rethought things though and I am quiting measuring obsessively every couple days and limiting it to once a month. I’m also sticking to a strict schedule of warm up, 10-20 miute stretch, and 400 jelqs. 5 on 2 off until the end of the year. I guess what I’m saying is that planning things out is good


Starting stats: 7.6 bpl x 5.875 - 6 g

Hoping for: 9 bpl x 6.25 g

400 jelqs may be a lot.

It’s up to you though.

This is maybe the best advice I could give to any newbie starting their PE career - put the rulers and tape measures away for a month, and use your intuition to guide your PE.

Obsessive measuring only leads to disappointment and defeatism.

That’s good to hear. It seems that at least once a week you’ll hear about some freakishly quick gainer who supposedly gets an extra 1/2” in 2 or 3 weeks, and then you look down and .wth? Though it is difficult not to occasionally look in the mirror and check, I think that all it does is create mind games. Is it thicker or just shorter than normal? What did it hang like before I started? I don’t plan on measuring but once a month.

I don’t even believe in measuring…
