I started jelqing for about a week 11 years ago at the age of 19 but never continued it and figured it didn’t work. I stumbled onto this site last week and all the results showed me that it worked. I don’t want a super big penis and am actually okay with mine but I could certainly use an inch in length or .5” in width.

I’ve read all about the newbie technique and have committed to doing it for two months. My question is, should I be doing anything more? Like clamping or weight stretching? Or should I just do two months of conditioning (like at the gym) and focus on stretching and jelqing?

One thing I noticed is most guys have longer FSLs than BPELs but I am the opposite (BPEL 6.65 vs FSL 6.45)
Do you think this puts me at a disadvantage? I am not particularly thick either, EG is 5.4. I re-measured it several times but I could not get my FSL longer than my erection length, I am not sure how other men are different.

Not a big issue. As for size, you are bigger than average. The newbie routine is the way to go - it is not ‘conditioning’, it is a well rounded routine that with some adjustement has been the main component of many big gainers. Different things work for different people, or even for the same people in different time; but for now just stick to that routine and focus on learning the correct technique.

My FSL is over 8.5”, I wish my erection was, lol. I don’t understand how a FSL could be less than erection, are you pulling it hard enough when you stretch? My flaccid stretch is stopped by that cable like tendon that runs down my penis. I don’t get how an erection can be longer unless that cable expands with erection.

I’ve reading up on it all day today too and it seems most people have a longer FSL but there are others with longer BPEL.

I swear I’m pulling as hard as I can! I think the difference is in the head, though. It engorges quite a bit and I think that’s what is skewing my results (then again, I’m sure most guys’ heads expand quite a bit.) I am a total grower; I usually have the smallest flaccid length but am average when hard.

I hope this doesn’t mean I am severely limited in my potential gains!

I see you mention FSL, stupid question but are you measuring bone pressed? Also, when measuring BPFSL sometimes tugging of the skin at the base of the shaft can result in slightly lower measurements due to discomfort.

I don’t think that having a BPFSL shorter than your BPEL would necessarily affect your potential for gains, some theories suggest that this indicates what part of your penis you should be focusing the majority of the stress on. I personally would do a routine with a higher proportion of stretching than jelqing, and see how you respond. My plan is to take bi-weekly measurements of BPEL, BPFSL and EQ, then you can see if changing the ratio of stretching/jelqing in your routine positively influences one/all of your measurements.

Awesome, just measured a (very painful) 6.78” which would make that longer than my erection length

It’s only been a couple of weeks but my flaccid penis looks GREAT! I love looking at it in the mirror.
