Too small for the clamp
PREFACE (Only read this part if you’re bored):
The other day, I went out and bought a cable clamp. The red — or, medium — one, since that’s what I’ve always seen people on this site using. The white one looked tiny, like I’d have all kinds of trouble just getting it around a wrap, and the blue one is, obviously, only used for PE on earth’s largest mammals. Now, the problem I’m outlining below.. On the one hand, I want someone else to have had this problem; if I’m the only guy too small to clamp, I’m going to be a very sad man. On the other hand, I don’t mean to wish that problem on any of you, and if it’s been posted before, I feel like a bum for not being able to find it, and I’m sure someone is going to yell at me for it =)
THE REST:
So, the question is, what do I do if the medium clamp is too big for me? It clamps, but it doesn’t restrict things the way it’s supposed to. Is the white one big enough? I’m only like 4.25” around.. Or is pipe insulation — or something similar — with my red clamp the way to go?
I realize, too, that I’m a little young in my routine to be clamping, but nobody worry; I only want to have the means available when I hit three months. Besides that, if I’m just having a “too hard to jelq” day, I don’t want to scratch the whole thing until tomorrow.
