Toilet paper roll, how different is it internally from externally?

My toilet paper roll is 5.5” around, does anyone know what it would be internally? No guesses please, I want an answer of somone who has measured the internal and external circumference of one of these tubes so they know what the difference is.

Also when people speak of the toilet paper roll test, do they bend the tube to best resemble their penis, or stick it in while circular. When i try it with paper around it (keeping it circular) I can’t fit, but if I use one with no paper left, it will bend to accomodate my penis and fit perfectly.

Look at the bottom of this page where it says “similar threads”. There is info about this in at least a couple of them.

I think there may be some variation in size between brands. If I were you I would cut it open, flatten it out and measure.

Bottom line, if you can’t get your dick to slide all the way through a TP roll you are big.

Take a ruler measure the internal cross section diameter and multiply by 3.14. Simple

Well, I have taken the measurements of the toilet paper roll and it’s like this:

* The internal part is 5.4”
* The external part is 5.9”

And with the test I don’t know how it has to be done but I’ve tried both ways and I can’t fit in any way.

A half inch difference? Are your rolls corrugated?

I can’t speak for others, but I do bend the role. With the application of light pressure, I shape the role into a sort of ellipsoid. Trying to insert my penis into the toilet paper role with its circular shape causes pain on insertion, as it scrapes the sides of the head of my penis (ouch!). I tried this “test” a couple of years ago after hearing someone claim that the toilet paper role can be utilized as a form of alternate method to a tape measure for determining the approximate size of one’s girth. Mine fit only about 0.25 inches past the glands which soothed my worries of inadequacy, but, like I said before, it caused pain because of the tube’s shape.

So if you think yours won’t fit, bend the tube to conform to the shape of your penis to avoid any pain.

Wouldn’t it be simpler to go to a fabric store and buy a cloth measuring tape for future use also?

I used painters tape to take the girth measurement. Square one end off, wrap it around, then draw a line.

No mistakes in measurement possible with this method. The painters tape isn’t too sticky to cause pain when taking it off. Try it, it works well.
