Today I learned something

Warm ups are the KEY INGREDIENT to a safe and healthy workout. Today I decided to take an extremely hot shower for about 20 min. I’m talking so hot that as soon as I dried off, I was soaked again from my own sweat, my penis huge like a horse just from the shower. I did my measly workout. Only 100 jelq. I’m just keeping it simple for though who are wondering. And after I was done, my penis huge like two horses! And I’m sitting on my chair and I can feel it hung along my thigh. Guys I’m telling ya, the better warm up you do the better workout your gain from it.

Ya’ll probably know this, but I just want to get it through to the people who don’t fully understand the importance to a good warm up.

Yeah 100% agree. I had to learn this fact the hard way when I first started PE. It wasn’t pretty and almost put me off for good. Never skip the warm up. If you can’t even be bothered warming up properly or warming up at all, then you shouldn’t even bother doing the rest of your routine.

Thanks aussie664! And Krod has a good point, If you don’t even bother warming up, then you should even bother performing your routine.

Even if some of you think it’s not necessary, try for your self. Sit down and warm that sucker up for 10 min then preform your routine. I can almost bet you’ll see a significant increase in pump, and in gains.

I completely agree, 2big4u!! In fact on the rare days I don’t warm up not only am I a lot more sore afterwards, but my dick doesn’t have as nice of a chubby engorged after feeling to it. Everything just feels healthier down there after a good warm up and warm down.

I decided to try a real long warm up. Definitely helped with the work out particularly stretching actually. But after my warm up which was a real hot 15 minute shower my shaft was flaccid but it was also really hard. It went back to normal pretty quickly but any comments? Could it just be the heat bringing in a lot of blood?

The heat would loosin your unit up. Not stiffin it out. Did you PE first then get stiff? Or was this all before you worked out?

All before. I did get and erection when I first started warming up, it died down shortly afterwords though, and thought maybe that had something to do with it.

In hind sight that was probably definitely the reason but I was just wondering if this was at all normal

Ya definitely tried taking a really hot shower and my dick didn’t hang like a waterbuffalos, it just stayed normal except got stiffer like asses.

Don’t get me wrong it definitely helps with the work out and post work out hang

I dont think The warm up had anything to do with some of your guys stiffness. I search the forum and couldnt find anybody complaining of stiffness causesd from a warm up. Maybe its Negative P.I.’s from previous. Try it again. Try for a few days, maybe you just need to adapt?

What would you all say about a 5 minute warm up with decently hot water in a showering cup, along with immediately afterward doing manual stretching during a hot shower?

Good enough warm up and run through?


Starting 5/22/09:

NBPEL: 5.75 in. BPEL: 6.5 in.

FL: 3.5 in. EG: 4.75 in. [Midshaft]

I’d make it a little longer. I only shower to warm up. It’s not as good as using a wrap and I’m not sure what a shower cup is but I usually have a 7 or 8 minute hot shower and massage my cock and the tendons (but mainly the tendons) while doing it and then I get to work.

My routines a little intense on some days and I’m yet to have an injury or even decreased PI’s since I’ve been warming up this way.

Just think about it as transferring heat. A shower is less efficient so your going to want it to be hotter or longer than a wrap to warm your unit up all the way through and get those tendons real soft.

I usually do my routine in the shower as a beginner.. Now I’ll have to turn up the water temperature.
