A matter of fact is that everybody has his own opinion about this exercise. Some people find it useful to prevent premature ejaculation. Others says it’s opposite for them and it makes them cum quicker. What do YOU think about it? It’s common that it improves erection but as you master it, you can perform a massage of your the most fragile part of your perineum which is by some people called “the one million dollar point” and in this way influence on your prostate. But you must realise that it will make your arousal to rise and by this.. You will last for a shorter period of time. So.. Is it wort of it?

Hmm I don’t know I’m doing kegels for 2 months but I can’t answer to you’re question, I fell the dick is stronger but I don’t know any thing about premature ejaculation.

I think Kegels are an instrumental part of penile health. At the same time you can overtrain and wind up with a weaker P.C. Muscle. So I say do it but don’t over do it.

Yeah I’m one of the ones who have gotten “involuntary kegels” during sexual stimulation after doing kegels, and let me tell you it sucks, I still get it every once and awhile although doing reverse kegels has mostly counter balanced that.

I’m pretty sure why it messed me up was because I was doing them frequently and without a real purpose during masturbation and sex. My body just got used to doing them during sex and kept doing them, except without me trying to. Its because randomly doing kegels will not make you last longer thats for sure, its actually quite the opposite. If I were you I wouldn’t do them during sexual stimulation and you should be fine, personally I’m too scared to do them anymore, but I’m always tempted to by all the success stories around here.

I overdid them, and I had some premature Ejaculation, now I have found my perfect balance and it has helped me greatly! Everything in moderation!

I can just say that kegels were the first step on the way to cure my premature ejaculation.

Knowing this muscle, and figuring how it works while you orgasm will greatly help.

Having a strong PC muscle will help controlling your orgasms. There are many good tutorials about this.

Edging helped me a lot to master this.

Then, another big step to climb is doing it “live” with a partner. The hardest for me has been to keep the focus on my feelings while making love.

It took me a lot of pactice, but now, I have an amazing stamina. I went from 2 minutes ( or maybe 10 with a lot of stop and go ) up to no limit ( except my physical condition : 20 kgs too fat ). In fact, I usually stop before 30 min. I don’t want to hurt my girlfriend. :)

So definitely : KEGEL. But as it has been said, don’t overdo it. And the good news is that this one IS a muscle, so you can work it out like any muscle ( I mean, muscles are very well known whereas concerning PE, it is still very experimental. )

Petrus, how do you feel about kegeling during intercourse?

Giants says that it can cause premature ejaculation but I also know that ABSOLUTELY relaxing the BC muscle will cause your erection to decrease so how should I find the perfect balance?

Kegel when edging, don’t ask why just do it.

Then do the same when having sex. You tell me if it is worth it or not.

That said: Keep it simple.

You say this but don’t you find that flexing the pc muscle/kegelling during stimulation brings on the “urge” quicker?

Or am I doing something wrong?
I’ve tried reverse kegeling to hold off an orgasm but can never hold it long enough and end up pc clenching naturally (as in an orgasm).

No you are not doing something wrong, you are doing it at the wrong time.

Kegeling during edging and sex is an art in it self. You flex for too long you end up shooting too quick, you reverse for too long you might loose all point in having sex. My tip to try:

Don’t hold your kegels, and don’t to it to try to hold the urge while you are at the edge.

If you hold your kegel for too long, yes you will blow way too quick. The trick is to kegel even before you feel like cumming. Then do a reverse to knock off some of the sensitivity. Go on for a while, and repeat.

If you try to hold a kegel once the urge gets there, and continue to stimulate your glans, you most probably will blow your load. You have to stop, kegel, then start again, but the above technique is what I use to avoid that point of stimulation.

On a end note I would just like to say that this is all I do in relation to kegeling, I posted a few other tips in the thread below.
Thatcat - Lasted very long once, but only that once! :(

I still say all this sounds way too difficult on black and white.

The only problem with kegels is the ‘some is good so more is better’ mentality. Treat the BC like any other muscle; when it feels ‘worked’, it is.

Vary contraction times and reps and avoid over-training. Try to feel each kegel properly; each should be a quality effort.
