To Get A Bathmate Or Not?

Thanks guys for all the feedback.

Gprent my initial plan was actually to buy an air pump with correct cylinder size etc from Thickwall but the cost is the same as for the Bathmate and Bathmate and the advantages of water pumping kept coming up In my research which is what made me so confused. If you use an air pump with water don’t you take gauge off anyway from what I’ve read elsewhere on this site? Which makes me think I should just go for the Bathmate and SomethingToBe’s gains are impressive.

Still thinking about it but whatever I decide I’ll record my progress on here.

I have never heard of anyone removing the gauge from an air pump so they could pump water. Actually, neither the gauge or pump in an air system should get wet. In order to convert an air system for water, a water reservoir is plumbed into the setup located between the cylinder and pump and the reservoir holds to excess water being pumped from the cylinder.

The primary goal of PE should be to make your penis as healthy as possible in both form and function. If you do that, increased size will follow.

So would that be then like setting it up for bleeding brakes, where you would have the cylinder connected to a reservoir, then tubing to the gauge?

With the bathmate you have to stay in the shower to increase the pressure over time right ? Is it different from another water pump ? Because it’s a bit annoying if you have to stay in a shower for 20+ minutes.

Exactly like that. But instead of the reservoir catching brake fluid, it is catching water.

Well, you could use it laying down in the tub. Or you could use it outside and water the grass with the ejected water. :D

I use it before I shower. I just sit or lay on the bathroom floor surfing the web and zoning out. Very relaxing. Then a shower with wet jelqs. A bit backward, but works really good for me.

Edit:

Just to clarify; I use it with water. Since I’m shaved I Get a good seal so there is virtually no mess

SomethingToBe, from your statistics page I think you are doing something very very right with your Bathmate!

How do you avoid the problems some people have, discoloration etc?

sta-kool - You made me laugh because that looks just like the pumps for PE. What is a brake bleeder? Would a cylinder from Thickwall work? What other components would one need?

PE start Aug 25, 2013: BPEL 6.7" x EG 4.7" and BPFSL 7".

Paused between Dec 2013 and Dec 2014 due to injury. Careful with those rice socks!

Goal 7" x 5". Ideal is 8" x 6" but let's not even dream about that yet...!

By listening to my member 😄
Always stop when it does not feel good, building up pressure slowly. Also I started with air pumping a few weeks before switching to BM. I got some fluid and discoloration from that, but not an issue with the BM.
Also I think taking good time is important. My girl is supportive and I sometimes even PE with her .

Brake bleeding. The easiest thing is to just show you this video. The setup for water pumping would be the same, but you would probably want a larger water reservoir and longer tubes to connect everything together to make it more comfortable to operate.

That’s really great SomethingToBe!

About brake bleeders - I found some on Ebay for £13.50 in the UK, and they LOOK identical to the ones sold by the penis pump companies such as Thickwall for £75.

EDIT: Thanks for the video! Very good.

Here is the water reservoir (they call it a water trap) from Thickwall:

I learned about that Harbor Freight pump here on thundersplace. I have one and it is great for pumping.

Yes, a cylinder from thickwall would work. (I use a thickwall from vacutech) You would need a male connector to connect to your cylinder. Thickwall will sell you one of those.

You might want to get some additional tubing so you can have a longer run of tubing from the pump to you cylinder for convenience. Thickwall has that, or you can buy tubing at any hardware store for cheaper.

Do you water pump or air, sta-kool?

sta-kool, as far as I can read their page, Harbor Freight does not send to Europe (I am in Sweden).

Would a pump like this work just as fine? - It looks great to me but what do I know - I am not well versed in the quality of different vacuum pumps :)

If I buy cylinder from them I’ll be sure to also order such a connector, thank you!

Their standard cylinder is what you guys would recommend?
