Thinking of switching to infrared heat

12

Bought a 50w bulb today from petco. Was testing the heat by placing a thermometer six three and one inches away , at 6 inches the temperature was only 30C, 3 inches about 37C, and 1 inch 50C

I noticed 50w might be a little bit too low since.when trying to come close to the bulb my glans actually touched the bulb for a split second (ouch.)

When being more careful though I loved the feeling I got with an IR bulb, way better than rice sock

I guess I’ll go for the 75 watt one I saw there, only problem is my lamp says not to use anything above 60 watts or else there is a risk of fire, I’ve never actually owned a lamp before, does anyone know if it would it be dangerous to put a 75watt bulb in a 60 watt lamp?

I can get 100w or 150w IR lamps…which one do you consider is better ? Does the extra 50w make a difference ?

I’ve done it plenty of times. Just watch the fixture. Don’t leave it unattended and you’ll be just fine.

Size is little more than a controllable perception without an accurate means of measurement.

I’ve seen philkps lamps both heating and Infr red that are coated. so it’s not a reliable guide.

(Thanks Demerit! But I don’t fancy rowing acros the Atlantic to get one :D )

petitfaun, how can I know if this is surely a infrared lamp ?

It specifies: cosmetic lamp with infrared Ufesa LI5715

My concern is that in this image the bulb “appears” white and I’ve read some posts here that it should be black?

Thank you.

My advice to all is not to use infrared lamps to heat up. I tried this and got an internal burning pain in one of my balls. Use something safe like a vessel containing warm water. You want a bigger dick but you don’t want to make yourselves impotent. Be safe.

Have you tried covering your testicles ?

It’s rather difficult to decide which is Heat and which is IR. If there is no indication on the manufacturers leaflet, then I would guess it’s more inclined t be a heat lamp. Philips made them (I have one) but I don’t think much of it as you have to have it too close to your body whilst PE’ing. And there is a shortage of them so Philips may have stopped making them.

I did have a Philips 150 but the lamp went and the holder was a 3 pin type which has gone out fashion. I’ve now found a screw type holder and am converting the lamphlder to aceept that.

I shall have to do some research on the Black heat; as it may simply refer to a heating plate.

Yes I tried covering them but it has to be with silver foil to deflect the radiation. It’s just too much hassle and in my opinion dangerous, just use warm water or something easier and safer. That word radiation should tell you it’s not a good idea since radiation was used by the Nazis to sterilise people.

250 is way too hot. As long as its 60 watts or more, I’m sure its fine. Those little 60s are used for muscle relaxation. If it penetrates the muscle, it will penetrate your penis in my opinion. Please don’t buy the 250, its so hot, you have to hold it a certain distance away, and worry about severe burns. Not to mention skin burn from normal use, lol.
