I read someone on this forum saying that once PE is begun, it is needed to maintain EQ levels. Could it simply be that once PE is started, we experience greater EQ and then after PEing a long time we get used to it? Then when we take breaks, EQ simply drops to what it used to be. What are your thoughts?

I took a 3 week decon break and I did not notice a drop in EQ what so ever. I imagine its kind of like weight lifting, if you dont do ANYTHING then yes it may suffer.

Actually, rest breaks seem to greatly increase my EQ and I even seem to gain a little.

Starting size: 6.0" BPEL, 5.0" MSEG, 6.75" BPFSL(11/2009)

Goal: 7.25" BPEL, 6.25'' MSEG

I think like boonanny that breaks will even make my EQ better. I might be overtraining sometimes and a break will definitely increase my EQ. Maybe if you have a year break effects of PE starts to fade away (execpt cemented gains).

Start 20.4.2010: BPEL = 6.6 EG = 4.3 EGB = 4.8

Current: BPEL = 6.9 EG = 4.7 EGB = 4.9

Goal: BPEL = 7.5 EG = 5+

Before PE I had terrible ED problems. After only about a week of PE it (as expected) subsided, and later even disappeared.

However, after taking a long break, ED problems came back, but never as bad as it used to be.

Maybe it was just me, but I agree - with PE we get used to being hard all the time.
