The stickys have disappeared

As I joined this site there were a couple of stickys in this forum I think, no? Why were they removed? I thought that was a quite good way of finding things. I have noticed the blue field above the forum with a link to the newbie routine. Maybe this could be increased to in a google fashion offer links to other useful things like glossary?

I don’t think so. But the stickys on other sections are still up I think.

Have you actually clicked that link Bullge? There has been no change in the stickies in the Newbie Forum for over a year, possibly two years.

Yepp, I have actually clicked the link. Found it very useful as well! :) I could have sworn that I had seen stickys here, but if the rest of the forum can survive without, so can I :)
