The real beginning of my PE journey

Back-story: I am 18 years old, overweight but exercise 5 days a week for 1 hour each day, have done wet jelqing using petroleum-based jelly (haha, oh wow), dry jelqing, normal/reverse kegels, and I currently balloon for a short period of time (30min-1hr). I tend to jerk off and cum 2-3 times per day, every single day of the week. This comes out to 14-21 times per week. I am not circumcised, and I always, always go at it dry. For all my efforts, I am blessed/cursed with a somewhat discolored penis that measures 6” BPEL and 5” EG. I made an account with the intention to PE for a couple of months, yet I only did it a few times before saying ‘screw this’. This was primarily due to me not having any water-based lubricant, and I am really embarrassed to go buy some at the pharmacy. In addition, I measure myself today and I find that my size didn’t change at all, which made me feel a need to do something about it. Now, I come back hoping to start my PE journey right by asking a few important questions.

1. Is it necessary to use a water-based lubricant when doing a wet jelq? I hate using petroleum-based jelly, so I don’t see any other choice.
2. How does a dry jelq compare to a wet jelq in terms of its cost-benefit ratio? Is it worth doing dry jelqs when a wet jelq is available to you?
3. What is altered in a standard PE regimen for an uncircumcised vs. Circumcised penis?
4. Is it better to aim for a BPEL goal or a non-BPEL goal, particularly if you have fat around your shaft?

#1 I prefer not to, actually. For pure jelqing I’ll use extra virgin olive oil or coconut oil.

#4 I’d say both. The BPEL measurement will be showing how much your dick is growing. The NBPEL will show how much weight you are losing and how much your dick is growing. If you are doing PE for aesthetic reasons then NBPEL is the more important of the two though. If you are more concerned about performance issues then BPEL is.

Thanks a lot! Also, I just got done doing a newbie routine and immediately I had two things on my mind: My pubic hairs are getting in the way of my jelqing, and the manual stretches felt sort of awkward. I could feel the ligaments stretching, but my glans would sometimes slip out and I would end up pulling on my foreskin. So, I have two further questions.

1. Is it a requirement to shave off all your pubes around the base and shaft when doing PE?
2. Is your penis flaccid or erect when doing a basic manual stretch?

Yeah, shaving is not required, but trimming is definitely required for a good jelqing session. Also, manual stretching requires you to be completely flaccid. Proved these two to be true last night. The problem is, my EQ went down after my first session, yet after my second session (last night) my EQ became better than normal! Now, it’s difficult to have a good jelqing session because I have to stop every few seconds for my erection to subside to 60%. Is there a way to counteract this conundrum, besides doing multiplication tables in your head?

Manual stretches must be done with dry hands! If your grip is slipping off sometimes, dry off your hands completely. Oh, and I still can’t stop having harder erections while jelqing at 60%. It’s getting so fucking annoying because I can’t do as many reps as I would like. Does anybody have a few ideas on how to keep your erection at 60% while jelqing?

Pinching the head of your penis can kill that pesky 100% erection.
