I suffer from premature ejaculation and I’m sure it’s due to kegel exercises. But when I did them I did loads! Hundreds a day and they have trained my BC muscle to involuntarily contract and I just can’t control it.

I’ve read alot of posts on whether kegels cause or cure premature ejaculation and have a theory.

I feel that I’m in this situation because I abused my BC muscle and what I was wondering was, if I’d of started off slow with about 50 a day and increased it like every 2 weeks, would this have strengthened my BC muscle better and not caused the involuntary contractions I have now?

Could everyone post whether kegels helped or worsened their PE and then post how many kegels you did a day. We can then see if my theory is right

Well, what has been your routine while training your BC muscle? If you overdid it, it is well possible that your BC has become weaker instead of stronger, hence your problems with voluntary control over it and PE.

Some time ago (a year or so) I’ve done Kegels (120 per day for about three or four weeks) combined with daily edging sessions. It has greatly imrpoved my stamina at that time.
I don’t know if this would have been the case if I had only kegeled.

Yes, Kegals are not what stop ejaculations, I also believe they induce them. It is reverse kegals that stop one from ejaculating. They are very hard to master, especially during sex I imagine, but if you can master them, they are very effective.

Kegal is to pissing, as reverse kegal is to pushing that last few squirts of piss out. How ironic, Kegals stop piss, but make you shoot cum, while reverse kegals shoot piss, but make you not cum. The human body is strange.

When coming close to orgasm, your PC muscle, and other muscles (buttocks, toes, abs) begins to involuntarily contract, massaging the prostate. This is what leads to ejaculation. Doing Kegels, and strengthening those muscles, gives you a better awareness of them, and allows you to have the power to stop the involuntary contractions. After kegeling for about a year, I began training myself to last as long as I wanted. Being aware of my PC and not allowing it to contract helps me hold off for a very long time. However, I do eventually get the urge to ejaculate, and I had to practice my timing on when to clamp my PC muscle. You have to have it strong enough to fight a strong urge for about 10 seconds. But the Kegel isn’t the most important part. Relaxing the rest of your body and making sure you are breathing is the most important. After only a couple days of practicing, I was able to last infinitely. So for me, kegels have been a blessing. After training myself, I have had sex for as long as 4 hours straight.

If I started up again but took it easy would that strengthen it?

Well, me for example, I’m doing press-ups every day. At the moment two sets with 50 repetitions per set. But guess what? I wasn’t able to do 2 x 50 press-ups when I decided to start my training. I gradually built up towards this ability. To be more precise, I initially started at 2 x 15 and increased the load every two weeks by 5 repetitions per set. I started at a level which was easy for me. So I think the same counts for any other muscle, whether be it your biceps, triceps or your Bulbocavernosus.

I cannot foresee the future, but with my layman’s view on this, I’d say yes, you can fix that on your own. Just back off and remember “less is more”. What pops up in my mind right now would be two sets per day with 20 repetitions per set, Monday through Friday. Take the weekend off. Do it for two months and reconsider your status after this time period.

I wish I knew more on what he means. I fortunately have never dealt with a problem premature ejaculate. Maybe one of your nerves is crossed up so you try some resting poses ex.( child pose & breathing is important with all your exercises) I also read while reading some post that some people exercise holding there belly in. Could increase your blood flow and give a better PE and understanding of your body every time, possible (I think so.). I provably would throw in a twisting pose, downward dog, and end with a butterfly pose for groin (Theses are all yoga poses). It defiantly works for me and surprisingly fits perfectly to PE and it could be an excellent mixture for all. Any questions you have for me I would be glad to answer for you. I havent done them for months. Since they started giving me PE. But I did so many! Long ones and short

Were you doing the kegels, kind of in a hurry?

I alwayd did 5 second repititions. 1 second between each rep.

I do 50 a day and it helps plenty.

Hundreds a day sounds like someone trying to get big quick or something and causing problems.
