Takes me 3 full days to recover from a workout.
I’ve been jelqing on and off for about 5 years (Started when I was roughly 17). More off than on, however roughly a month ago I started being really committed. I’m about 7.5 BP, 5.5 MSEG (Closer to 5.75 at the base, 5.25 toward the head). I jelq between about 70-90% erect and focus mainly on expansion. When I approach 100% I reverse jelq and focus on filling up the base of my cock (The part inside my body) while kegeling the blood back in the opposite direction. Sometimes I edge and ejaculate after the session, sometimes I don’t. I also do minor stretching after jelqing (Always upward in the direction of my natural erection angle, I’m afraid to pull downward because I don’t want to ruin my upward curve which is vital for hitting the gspot in my experience) for no more than 5 sets of 30.
The thing is it takes me three full rest days after a workout to recover completely. I go by feel, sometimes I need an extra day in between if I haven’t been sleeping well. So if I PE one day, I take two days off, then work out again. I don’t feel pain, but my muscles feel really sore for two days after (Mainly my BC muscle, the PC muscle only gets really tired if I ejaculate at the end). I can get erect on the off days (easier on the second rest day), but it takes a bit and it’s never rock hard like the third day. There’s no point in having sex the two days afterwards (I only enjoy sex with a RAGING hardon), but on the third day I’m a stallion and can fuck all day. On the day after my workouts my flaccid hangs close to my body and I may get a slightly firm flaccid, but not terribly firm of completely lifeless like when I overdid my workouts in the past. The second day I hang lower, and the third day I’ve got a monster flaccid. I don’t usually do any kegeling because my muscles get so sore, and I feel like I kegel enough during jelqing to get the blood flowing and get a good bc muscle workout. Maybe I should kegel more on my workout days so I have a bunch of recovery time afterwards.
Is this normal for someone starting out? If I keep doing the workouts will I eventually be able to work up to one day on one day off or even consecutive days? Or is my body just a little slower to recover than most? It’s not the worst thing in the world, but I’d like to at least get to the point where I can have good sex two days after rather than three, because if I fuck on day 2 I usually can’t get wood very easily the second time, but if I wait til day 3 I can come 3-4 times easy.
