Ok so last night was my third night at jelqing. First night I saw a little swelling but none the second or third night. This also happened when I got out my mega trac out and started using it again.. First couple times using it I would swell up for a little while and be nice and plump, but that’s not really happening any more. Is this normal? I thought I was suppose to be swelling up after a good session!

Somewhat hard to comment if you don’t post your routine.

Just been doing the newbie routine. 5 minute warm up, ten minutes stretch and ten minute jelqing. First night I did it the tip of my head was swollen and felt like I had accomplished something. Also I had a nice dark color to my dick and you could tell where I had been jelqing. Past two night, as soon as I get done, you can’t hardly even tell I had been jelqing. Last night I went an extra 5 minutes and still no change.

Sounds like you are overtraining your dick.

What are your on/off days and how long have you been on this routine?

Well it has been my first week at doing it. I have taken the weekend off and will return to jelqing today. I have always messed with my dick like; using my mega trac several years ago and I have been restoring my foreskin for almost five years now. It never really gets a break but I’m wondering if my dick just has a high tolerance? What it overtraining?

Over training is working your penis too much, too hard for too long in most cases. Everyones is different however, it seems most noobs go for the more route then just doing what is directed in the noob basic routine exercise’s.. I too being a noob myself wonder what a healthy swell from PE on a regular basis should look like.. What do most of you guys who have been growing for the past couple years think? Obviously right after jelqing you might be close to erect size flaccid and maybe more swollen in girth, but say after you take a shower.. How swole should the member be?

Also!? Do you veterans stay a little sore the next day, like very lightly? Do you ever get very small spots? Or do you feel this is something that should not happen if you are doing PE correctly?

In my opinion, if you jelq the next day and your dick feels sore or tender doing the exercise, you over trained. I avoid the red dots as that is also a sign of over training.

If you do 10 minutes of jelking and you see no visible change to your cock, I definitely don’t think you are over training, under training more like it. Most guys have sessions that last 1 - 1.5hrs, and even more for the veterans. Also, jelking is a pretty safe exercise. Clamping, hanging, and pumping (to an extent) are the one’s you usually have to be careful in not overdoing. The signs of over training are pain, dark coloration, numbness etc. If you have none of these then you’re probably not over training. After a good session, your cock should feel plump and ‘exercised’, in a good way. If you don’t feel this, then you are not doing enough.

The swelling that delights you will not occur at every exercise routine; regardless how effective the workout. You have to realize that your penis is controlled by your parasympathetic nervous system and is both predictable and unpredictable in its physical condition. So, there are times the penis will react with additional swelling due to physiological factors present. Do not sweat or worry the lack of tumescence or lack of swelling that was present at another time (it does not matter); the one thing you will find is that there is a barrier that exists and as you grow in PE activities you will cross these barriers and the swelling you seek will be permanent. But, this can take time.
