Study

Study

I have a question. Is it sure that all the studies measure up the penis parallel to the ground? I mean if the penis stand in other way (EG up) do they put it always parallel or not in all studies? For example studies presented here: Penis Size: The True Average

Always take into account the group conducting the study. Obviously since there are so many different ways to measure no one study can be definitive in it’s findings.

Also think about this, guys with smaller than average size would be less willing to participate in the studies. So the average size is actually going to be smaller than what their findings are reporting.

Then 01/15/08 EBPL: 6.25 EG 5.10 Now 10/05/09 EBPL 7.75 EG 5.25 Girth work for 103 days.

New Short Term Goal: EBPL 8.0 EG 5.5 Lifetime goal 9x6.5 PE log and journal

I conclude that average, measured from the up of the penis, placed paralel to the ground will be about 5,5 NBP (Without a lot of Fat Pad), what gives nearly 6 inch BP x 4,8 EG Mid shaft. The question is, if the all studies in this link use the method to measure up penis paralel to the ground or just from the angle that they stand (bigger angle = smaller measure in method from the dorsal side)

All things in life are uncertain except death and taxes.

On average, I think your average is a little more than what is commonly accepted as “true average”. On the other hand, everything follows a Bell curve (normal distribution curve in Swedish, I don’t know what the Polish term is). So even if the “true average” is 1/8 this way or that, it doesn’t really make a big difference.

Taped onto the dashboard of a car at a junkyard, I once found the following: "Good judgement comes from experience. Experience comes from bad judgement." The car was crashed.

Primary goal: To have an EQ above average (i.e. streetsmart, compassionate about life and happy) Secondary goal: to make an anagram of my signature denoting how I feel about my gains

Yeah, I just wonder if the studies were taken by penis placed paralel to the ground or just like they are standing normaly (without placing them straight from the body. SO what would you suggest as a average size Mgus? Thanks for reply

Plenty of threads on the subject, seems like it’s sligthly less than 6. Then again, the Bell curve makes the exact average less interesting.

What does it mean, because I don`t get it

Why is the issue of average size and measurement such an obsession with you? You have 46 posts on this site and 35 of them are on this subject, many of them asking the same questions over and over again. Here are all the threads you have started on this:

Hi, everyone

Measure up
Average again

It’s difficult to get the exact kind of information you are asking about and you really should stop worrying about it. By this point, you have learned how to measure so just make sure you do this in a consistent manner and stick with it.

If you want a study to benchmark your progress against, then pick one and get on with the PE. My personal favorite is the Lifestyles study since it comes with percentile information. I think it’s more fun to track my own progress relative to the size of other guys out there. But, make no mistake, I view this information strictly in the spirit of fun. I’m not going to twist my mind in knots trying to think of every permutation of how they did the measurements, or how hard the guys in the subject were, or whether or not the nurses were wearing white lab coats, or…

If you take a look at the Lifestyles study, you’ll see that almost 50% of men are clustered within the 5.5”-6.0” region. Now, take out a ruler and mark out 0.5”. See? It’s a very tiny difference! Half of all men are basically visually indistinguishable from each other. With such tight clustering, there is no point in worrying about all these subtleties of measurement. The only way you will distinguish yourself in this respect is if you lie on one of the extremes, either on the small end or the large end. I have seen your stats and you lie well within the normal range. Stop worrying!

One last point from one of your previous posts (Tolka - Want to be more sure):

Your obsessive compulsive attitude towards this subject is a lot more unattractive to women than your penis size.

But what is the method use in all studies - they measure up penis placed paralel to the ground, or by the angle that is standing?

And also is the Lifestyles study BP or NBP?

You know what, since none of those studies are double blind etc, it doesn’t really matter.

Start doing PE instead. And don’t start anymore threads on the subject, the ones you’ve started will do just fine.

Did you even read my post? Am I talking to myself?

Let me put it more plainly: Nobody knows! Nobody cares!

We have had this discussion before. Don’t you remember the content of your own threads? Here’s a reminder: Invisible - Average.

Here is Sta-kool’s argument for why he thinks the study is BP: sta-kool - Average.

Will that be enough for you? I think AndroNYC said it best in response to your obsessive questioning (androNYC - Want to be more sure):

There is no standard way of measuring the penis.

Every study uses a different method.

The guys who allow themselves to be measured for surveys are not an average cross section of the population.

Self measured surveys are a complete farce.

Every study has different results, because the same method of measurement is not used, and even if the method was standardised, the person taking the measurement would not be. To get an accurate measurement of ‘average’, bone pressed would have to be used; how do you tell a nurse or doctor how hard to bone press?

A gay man can tell you far more about average penis size than any study.

No sexual partner is ever going to measure your penis, so the difference in size between the surveys, which, (though inaccurate), is fairly small, will never be known by a sexual partner. They will only know if it is larger or smaller than penises they have had previously.

There are over a million posts on this site. Many thousands have to do with ‘average’ size. We do not need any more.

It is totally irrelevant. Look at your penis. If you are happy with the size of it, great. If you are not, do PE.

Heat makes the difference between gaining quickly or slowly for some guys, or between gaining slowly instead of not at all for others. And the ideal penis size is 7.6" BPEL x 5.6" Mid Girth.

Several gay or bi men on this site have done so already.

For Lampwick, becoming hung like a donkey was the result of a total commitment.
