Struggling with PE addiction. let's be honest here

Hey all,
I am your typical newbie to PE. Made a few small gains, but enough to convince me PE is legit. Still, have had some setbacks and small injuries/worries. Most recently a thrombosed vein near the head, probably from gripping too hard or PEing too often or not warming up enough. At this point I realize I have started doing things that are potentially damaging to my long term health. I realize I should take a month or so off: I just want to reset my EQ and make sure I am totally healthy before restarting and doing everything right (warming up a lot and taking plenty of rest).

I have only been resting for a few days and it seems like a long month in front of me. I have to admit that there are some addictive tendencies of PE I am experiencing because there is no other reason this should seem difficult to rest. It is by far the best option for me to rest for a while to make sure my EQ is good and I don’t have any nagging issues when I start, but despite this I still deep down want to PE! It is stupid of me and I really need to take this month off just to prove to myself I will be able to take rests in the future so I don’t hurt myself.

Anybody else want to join this thread to help keep each other accountable? Not resting enough/ Not keeping to a month off is much worse than doing infrequent PE imo. Infrequent PE will still get you gains but I am at the risk now of permanently damaging EQ or damaging my tunica or veins. It makes me feel stupid that I took these risks in the past and hopefully I will make it through this month with better self control.

PE is addictive. So addictive no one who gains really ever quits. Staying the course of recovery is hard, harder still for the eager newbie (that’s you right now) and you need to stay strong. You can do it. You can and Will recover.

You will learn and master self control. I know this.

Now: 9" BPEL x 6.25" MSEG as of 11/10/2019 This is my story, a few progress pics of me here, and all my methods.

Then: 6.25" x 4.37" in 8/2009 Are you new to PE? Here's some advice I wish someone had given me when I first started.

My Extender and forward to 10" and balls enhancement project. There is no "Holy Grail" of Penis Enlargement. Only time and effort works. I'm *10* years in and counting. All you have to do is put the work in and keep the faith.

Do you actually suffer from other addictions? I ask as a person in recovery

I take a pill for that. It’s called “maturity”. It’s available over the counter. I know you can do it. PE is for adults and we all should know that. Being childish causes injuries and injuries to get worse.

Is your thrombosed vein related to your last injury post or is this a new injury?

Your conclusion about not taking enough time off being more detrimental to gains than not sticking to a routine rings true. I’m currently on the first week of a deconditioning break and you’re right, it’s definitely hard to just not do anything. It feels like you’re missing out on potential gains, but just try thinking about the fact that if you were to start again right now it would be more detrimental to your gains and possibly even damaging to future gains.

People get addicted to all sorts of weird activities. The best way to deal with it in my opinion is to recognize your own potential for addiction and work at mitigating the risk of falling for your own addictive rationale. This can be applied to different realms of life, not just PE.

Holy crap TG replied to my thread! Well now I have to make it through this month for sure. Yes, I am taking 1 month off at least just to be safe. Maybe 6 weeks. I just want to make sure 1. My thrombosis heals up and then give it extra time so I don’t reinjure it and 2. Make sure any other potential injuries I have become healthy. The way I think of it, even if I only have 1 injury right now, I may have a few other veins, arteries, nerves, tunica, that are tired out or maybe have small unnoticeable issues with them, but they may BECOME a later injury if I don’t take the time off to let them “reset” so to speak. Ounce of prevention vs pound of cure.

Thanks for the motivation.

Yes I would consider myself a porn addict. It hasn’t damaged me as much as it has some other people since I realized it relatively early. But I still struggle with it causing me social anxiety and ED. I noticed my PE addiction because an addiction can make you want to do things that you know are bad for you, like porn. So I noticed my own thought process with PE and decided I needed to do something

I do need to become more mature. Mainly my ego gets in the way where I often think I don’t have to do all the work everyone else has to do. Obviously a stupid thought process that I want to change.

Hey velhungwhite,

I don’t remember if I mentioned my thrombosed vein in my last post, but I am sure it is one right now. That is the only definite issue I have right now. I was wondering if I had a venous leak in that post but I am pretty sure I don’t have one now. I believe my weakish erections/ low erection angle is due to a combination of unbalanced PF muscles ( my Reverse kegels aren’t strong/relaxed enough) and a thin base which has trouble holding up the rest of the erection. Thinking back I now realize after doing some manual stretching and base girth work over the past months, I have noticed a higher erection angle and ones that are less bendable at the base, even though I still have a thinner base. I think I understand how someone with an inch more of girth on the base wouldn’t be bendable at all. I have also been working on my RKs and seeing better EQ from that. So I am 90% sure I don’t have a venous leak even though my symptoms were a bit similar.

Okay I am 100% sure you don’t have a venous leak. Get silly thoughts out of one’s head.

Addiction can manifest itself in many ways. Whatever you do don’t pick up substances if have a predisposition for addiction. Substances are much harder and almost impossible for some to quit. It’s also a disease with obsessive and compulsive behavior in it. For me the battle with this disease can and does come out in PE along with other areas of my life. But it’s up to me arrest my disease and find a healthy balance in life. Expect of course with substances there is no healthy balance for those in my life.

Did you read my last thread? What makes you say that?

Not only is venous leakage very rare but it is the most common idea that most people who injure themselves have after reading online and doing ‘self-diagnosis’. I thought I had venous leakage. But porn use mimics that, when your arousal triggers, EQ and drive suffer from the addiction.

That’s my own experience with it and, with pretty solid certainty, I would not expect you to have venous leakage.

Because you don’t have a venous leak.Do you know how rare they actually are especially in the younger population? Nope but everyone that has any trouble with their penis always runs to the venous leak thing. Oh I admit that sometimes they like the hard flaccid or torn Bucks fascia. The Bucks fascia is my all time favorite and no you don’t have that one either.

I think I found a good way to help take your mind off PE during the rest. I believe the PE addiction is related to self improvement, so I can replace PE with a different kind of self improvement in my down time. I am going to put in more work at the gym and in my diet for the next month and hopefully forget about PE for a while. At least today after I went to the gym I didn’t feel like 1 month was that long to go without PE, while if I was only thinking about PE it would seem like a long time.
