Hi just started pe, being doing it for about a week now, every thing seems to be going along fine, no pain, no marks or anything!

Just a quick question!

Been doing 10 minutes stretching

Then 100 jelqs

Just wondering if I should switch this around, as in 100 jelqs then 10 mins stretching. Just trying to get the most effective routine!

Mostly I have read suggestions to work length first, because it is harder to stretch a thicker “rope”.

Yes, I too would like to achieve length primarily, then girth (tho on the female satisfaction front of course - and as a sweeping generalisation - girth is everything provided that length is “adequate”).

There is an argument to be made that jelqing will exhaust the tissues to be stretched so that stretching will be more effective. Think of it as pre-exhausting all the stuff involved in jelqing so that they aren’t adding resistance to the stretch.

Yes, but jelqing will also cause him to get an erection (or at least this is true in my case), which will then have to be waited out before he can stretch.

Guy, sorry if you get rock hard wood that interferes with PE- happens to all of us occasionally. You’ll figure out how to deal with it.

I suggest stretching first. Point of stretching, like any other part of the body, is mainly to prevent injury. Considering you’re doing fine stretching first and haven’t had any injury—- keep the same course. On top of that, stretching will help (duh) stretch your ligs and give you more room for length work during the jelq.

The penis is a little different when compared to the other body parts that get worked out by most. When working your arms you..stretch your arms. What happens then? You do stretch the muscle out but you are also stretching the connections between bone and muscle. The penis doesnt’ have any joints (that I’m aware of), just tissue. You can’t base something that goes to the body because we dont jelq our arms. You dont know the effect of jelqing an arm before you stretch it out. I would have to agree with Andro, I’m sure most people on this site have jelqed at least once, and you should know that it hangs fuller and its softer and easier to mess with, it makes sense that it would be easier to stretch.

I’ve recently changed my routine to have the stretching happen after my jelq session. This is based on the theory that the jelqing (after a warm wrap) will get your penis warmed up a loosened for the stretching. Sure, you’ll have various levels of erection after a jelqing session, but like others have said that’s not a huge deal. Even if you have to wait a minute or two for it to subside before starting your stretching shouldn’t hurt anything.

Also, if you’re going primarily for length, it seems (from the tutorials) like you’d want to maintain your erection level on the low end of the stick - in the 50-60% range - so that you get the maximum stretch when you jelq. No idea if this effects anything, but the guide said it did.

Personally I have to do at least some stretching first, otherwise getting jelqing is difficult because there’s not a lot of shaft to jelq!

Cheers guys for the advice. Still not really sure what will be the most efficient, although I have to agree with keraunophile, without stretching first there wouldn’t be much shaft to jelq!

That’s a separate issue, but I’d weight my stretching after jelq when possible- perhaps 50% before and 50% after?

As to stretching as a ‘warm up’ to prevent injury- not so much I think- that’s why we use IR lamps, heating pads, warm washcloths. The stretching I’m getting into now is far too intense to be considered any sort of warm up.

In fact, I’m leaning toward a protocol of IR warm up while low pressure pump, increasing intensity as the tissues release- steadily increasing the internal pressure until I begin to get that good ache, Then switching to 10 minutes dry jelq at 60% [grade 2] erect * 2-4 seconds per stroke, followed by intense manual stretching- these days primarily A-stretch, and finishing with a Redi- stretch hang 10m*4kilos. Finally a strap or wrap or some other ADS and pillow fowfers at night.

Guys this is just a theory, and I cannot even claim it, but somehow it make sense to exhaust the tissues in 3-D before trying to elongate them.

Actually, it wasn’t until rereading this thread that I really saw what you wrote.

In PE the purpose of stretching is not the same as in other ‘BB’ training. The purpose here is to draw that bastard out of our bellies.

I believe that Jelqing [clamping, pumping] serves to lower the resistance of the tunica and only then can the stretching be truly effective.
Long term high volume [time] hangers achieve results- and it could be simply because of the tunica being overcome by the sheer ‘volume’ of the stress after hanging has beaten hell out of the tunica.

Personally I’m in the midst of trying to formulate a protocol and a supporting thesis that combines tunica exhaustion work [Jelqing, clamping, pumping] with s-t-r-e-t-c-h work [manual, hanging, ADS or otherwise].

‘Nuff said until I ‘publish’.
