Hi!

As a beginner like I am (Just one month in this of the PE) it arises me a doubt.

The beginners routine advises 10 times stretching of 30 seconds each one, It also says that I should stretch until feeling a certain nuisance but not pain, clear, but this is not very exact, because one can sometimes be very motivated and to stretch too much and sometimes one can be more sensitive and to stretch a little.

For that reason I had planned to make the stretching but instead of doing it with the hand doing it with some hanging apparatus and with a small weight at the beginning that it would go increasing as I saw the answer of my penis and results. This would allow me to be objective with the force with which I stretch because is easy to count kilos that estimating the force of the hands.

I am not saying that I will do hanging, I know that hanging is doing with high weight during sessions of 10 minutes or more, what I say is to simply make stretching of 30 seconds with a small weight

What about the idea? Did somebody already try it? How much weight would be advisable at the beginning?

To be honest I think you idea is flawed. Why would you start out with a low weight when the force being exerted through manual stretching is more than most people hang (assuming the average hanging weight being 10-20 pounds). I know that with my hands I can pull well over 50+ pounds easy and I’m not a strong man by any means. I know that 10-20 pounds sounds like a lot of weight to hang for a newbie but when you put it into perspective of the force your arms can put out 10-20 pound really is light weight. What you are basically talking about is getting into hanging.

It all boils down to the whole weight vs. time issue. Manual stretching is massive amounts of weight doe a short period of time and hanging is lighter weights for a longer period of time.

I would recommend you just sticking with the newbie routine (3 months) and since it seems, then try hanging weights. Just my two cents.

In short, you cant measure force (weight) like you can with hanging (no way of telling progression), and because you cant hold a stretch for as long.

Stretching is higher force, but much less time, whereas hanging is less force, over a longer time.
