Stretching tips -and opinions- for newbies - beyond PIs

Hi, there!
Here I am again needing some help from the vets of this beloved forum.
Well.. By what I read here so far, the best way to determine if things are going right is by PIs- Physiologic Indicators for Growth (PI’s), a great sparkyx’s Article.
Ok, no doubts until know.
Other thing is that the gains are somewhere between overdoing (and maybe get injured) and no effect at all.
But since I’ve just started in PE and the PIs look more as an after-training list of parameters, I don’t have much reference on how intense my stretches should be. So you vets could give us newbies some hints in this subject?

- In a stretch should I pull my unit (flaccid state, of course) till it gets the erect length? A little more or a little less?

- Should I stop increasing the force just before the pain starts or should I go a little further?

I’m aware pain (and other things here said) is kind of a subject matter, but maybe a little discomfort during the stretch is acceptable (or even expected, I don’t know).
Please feel free to post your personal opinions - I’m not willing to take any post as an absolute rule. But since I have no previous experience, some posts could give an idea, at least in this very beginning. Please remember: I’m a totally newbie! :)

I wouldn’t worry about how far you are pulling while doing manual stretches, that is more for extenders and even an ADS. I’d pay more attention to the sensations, and aim for a feeling of good discomfort, especially since the force you use will vary depending on the angle of the stretch. A bit vague but definitely do not stretch to the point of pain in your ligaments. No sense in risking injuries.

Not a senior member, but I stretch just before there is a little pain in the ligs. One thing I noticed right away that it was working was a longer flaccid hang.


Start: Dec 2009 - 5.75 [BPEL] x 5.25 [MSEG] 5.5 [BASE]

April 2010 - 6.00 [BPEL x 5.3 [MSEG] 5.5 [BASE]

Current Goal: - 7.00 NBPEL x 5.75 [MSEG & BASE]

Same here - you get that nice ache stretch feeling in the ligs way up into the pelvis (WithOUT a skin stretch) and almost right away have seen improvements in flaccid hang.

I’m still struggling with a reliable grip that 1)doesn’t stretch the skin much and 2)doesn’t put all the force on the head.

I’ve been doing this for over 2 years now, and think I have a pretty good feel for a good stretch. I pulled near the glans for at least a year, and definitely had reduced EQ if I went overboard. If you pull easy it’s not a big deal, but if you are trying to stretch it to your knees, you might have issues. The best manual stretch I found is about three fingers wrapped around the shaft a little below the glans.

Not too hard, but you can feel it grabbing the inner structures more, and you don’t have to pull the head of your schlong off to get a good workout.

I was using the base of my glans to ease the grip too and never had much though about it, but I think I should take some more care.
